1. WARM-UP:
Aim: -to create the atmosphere proper for the lesson
Procedure: - T. checks attendance and dialogues with the students. Asks a few informal questions to make the students feel at ease: ‘How
do you feel?’, ‘Do you like the weather today?’ Ss. talk with the teacher.

2. CHECKING HOMEWORK:
Aim: - to check understanding of the previous material
Procedure: T. checks if all the students have done their homework and corrects the errors they made. Ss. read their homework and
correct any possible mistakes.

3. EVALUATION
Aim: - to raise students’ awareness in their ability to use the language
Procedure: T. evaluates the homework. (Verbal appreciation)

4. LEAD-IN
Aims: - to introduce the topic of the lesson;
- to activate the related and background vocabulary
Procedure: T. asks Ss. a set of questions meant to check their memory. Ss’ answer. T. asks Ss. to try to relate the questions to the topic.

5. PRE- READING
Aims: - to introduce Ss to the topic of the text
- to activate their background knowledge and vocabulary related to the topic
Procedure: - T. elicits Ss. meanings about the title of the text and to relate it to other expressions with the noun ”mind” they know similar
in meaning with the title. Ss. answer the questions.

6. WHILE-READING
Aims: - to help students to understand the specific content
- to scan a text to find specific information.
Procedure: - T. asks Ss in turn to read aloud the text (The T. corrects if necessary any pronunciation mistakes). T. checks understanding of
vocabulary by asking Ss. to identify the unknown words. Ss. use the dictionary to find out the new words.
-T. asks Ss. to scan the text to fit sentences into gaps.

Aims: - to stimulate Ss & encourage them.

10. HOMEWORK
