I hope everyone has enjoyed the weather this weekend! I believe as of tomorrow
there are only 21 days left in Kinder - ¡¿Cómo puede ser?! This week we will be
reviewing what a home address is and why it is so important to know in case of an
emergency. Please practice reviewing your address with your child.
Friendly reminder: students are not allowed to share food at school. There is also no
gum allowed at school unless you have permission from parents and teachers. We
have recently had a few friends bringing gum to school and sharing it with their
peers. If you could review these rules we would greatly appreciate it!
La contraseña secreta (secret password) to come into the classroom this week will
be “cuídate” (take care).
A peek at our In Spanish Language Arts, we will continue to practice
week words with vowel “i” as well as build on our prior knowledge
of words and sentences with vowels “a” and “e.”
Some examples include:
“Sami vive aquí”
“Mamá mira a Papi”
“Fifí pide la cena”
Please remember how critical your nightly reading at home
with your child is (in English or Spanish).Thank you!
Week 7: allá, unas, ellos, les, doy
In Math, we will continue to explore addition and subtraction
concepts in our small group rotations. We are also reviewing
the “tricky teens” and introducing place value concepts.
In Social Emotional learning, as part of our Open Circle
curriculum, we will talk about “creative thinking” and how
this can help us at school and beyond!
Incorporating Many card and board games can easily be adapted to be
