Getting started
Cement plant operators are often
hesitant to make major investments
without clear proof of results. To
alleviate concerns and highlight
potential benefits before any large
commitments are made, FLSmidth
provides a unique phased approach to
help guide you through the process.
As an important first step, we con-
duct a thorough feasibility study to
determine your plant’s pyroprocessing
capabilities and which parts should
be modified, replaced or introduced
to meet emissions regulations and
other requirements. We will even set
up a temporary installation to confirm
a solution’s effectiveness prior to full
installation, as well as involve third-
party providers in advance to assure
dependable, long-term fuel supply.
This structured approach is the most
efficient and practical method to
minimize risks and reduce uncer-
tainty, giving you – and us – the
best possible perspective from which
to implement a scalable, sustainable
and fully compliant solution.
