Our Vision

To create the most conducive environment for quality academic and research oriented undergraduate
education in information and communication technology in relation to software and hardware
development; and prepare the students for a globalized technological society and orient them towards
serving the society with fear on God.

Our Mission

The Department's mission is to provide quality education in both the theoretical and applied foundations
of information system and train students to effectively apply this education to solve real – world problems
thus amplifying their potential for lifelong high – quality careers and give them a competitive advantage
in the ever changing global work environment of the 21st century. As part of its mission the program brings
the latest research findings into courses and actively involves students in research endeavors of the
faculty. The program also provides leadership in the application of high technology to improve the
educational experience. Holistically, the program imparts moral and ethical values, and interpersonal skills
to the students to hone them as technical professional with fear of God and responsible citizen of the
society locally and internationally.

Program Outcomes

Graduates of BSCS/BSIT program are professionals who:

PO1: Apply algorithmic, mathematical and scientific reasoning to a variety of computational

problems.
PO2: Design, correctly implement and document solutions to significant computational
problems both in software and network solutions.
PO3: Analyze and compare alternative solutions to computing problems.
PO4: Implement software systems that meet specified design and performance requirements
in a secured technological environment.
PO5: Work effectively in teams to design and implement solutions to computational problems.
PO6: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
PO7: Recognize the social and ethical responsibilities of a professional working in the discipline.
