for a Bsc in Animation at Ulster University. I am in Modelling and UV mapping 3D models for a VR game designed to aid

my final year expanding my skills in 2D and editing the rehabilitation of stroke victims.

Russian Classical Ballet & Musical Theatre

I studied Russian classical ballet for 16 years, from the ages of 3 to 19. l currently study

musical theatre singing. I have managed to adapt the skills I learnt from these areas and

applied them into my animating and editing skills. In ballet you must be very aware of the

Adobe After Effect CC movement of your body and where your centre of gravity is. I use this knowledge while

animating in order to achieve more fluid and natural movements with the characters. I also

use my knowledge of music theory while editing in order to add music that works with the
Final Cut Pro X
piece and to edit the footage around a musical piece itself. It also helps in timing when
Autodesk Maya
animating, being aware when a character should do a particular action.

In my leisure time I keep my video editing skills up to date by making Youtube videos. Currently

I am trying to raise awareness of issues about dyslexia other than just spelling and reading. I

create educational videos on how individuals are effected, share my own experience of

dyslexic and offer study tips and books that helped me.
