GENERAL NOTES:

1. All Electrical works shall conform to the latest edition (2017) of the Philippine Electrical
Code. Obtain all necessary permits required by the local government.

2. All materials and wiring devices/fixtures shall be all brand new and approved type for
location and purposes. And shall comply with all applicable codes, recommended practices
and standards. Execute work so it will present neat and mechanical in appearance. And leave
the installation in operating condition.

3. All wiring shall be in galvanized rigid steel conduits unless noted otherwise.

4. The contractor shall verify and orient the actual location of service entrance for connection
to power supply. And also the actual location of the telephone system & cable service
entrance for connection to the local telephone & cable facilities.

5. All conduits and metal frames of equipment shall be BONDED together by means of copper
strap and adequately grounded.

6. Lighting branch circuits with designation shall be 3.5 sq.mm THHN in 20 inch dia. Conduit
unless noted or shown in the plan. Minimum wire size for convenience outlet is 3.5 sq. mm
cu. In 20 sq.mm pvc.

7. All snap switches, single pole, three way shall be flush mounted tap action installed in 1.20
meters above floor finish.

8. Panelboards, bolted circuit breakers, quick-make, quick-break, trip free on overload and
short circuit, common trip, NEMA standards. Ratings as shown in the plan. The box shall be
of code gauge sheet steel with standard knockouts and adequate wire gutters. The trim shall
be semi-flush mounting provided with flush hinges, spring catch and lock and circuit
directory on the door inside.

9. All feeder and branch circuit conductors shall be installed as indicated in the plan. Individual
branch circuit homeruns shall not be combined with the same conduit or raceway unless
explicitly provided for the plan.

10. Clearance for Overhead Conductors & Cables and Clearances from Buildings for Conductors
of Not over 1,000 volts, Nominal shall comply to sections 2.25.1.18 and 2.25.1.19 of the
latest edition (2017) of Philippine Electrical Code.

11. The Grounded Conductor shall not be smaller than specified in Table 2.50.5.13 ( C )(1) of the
latest edition (2017) of the Philippine Electrical Code.
12. It is advisable to use larger service conductors and the corresponding overcurrent protective
devices to accommodate FUTURE LOADS depending on the anticipated expansion. PEC 2017
edition, Appendix D. Wiring Design (H).

13. NO REVISION in the design shall be done without the prior knowledge and approval of the
designer and the structure owner. Any revision done without such approval shall cause
responsibility of the designer to ceased as a whole.

14. The drawing and specifications are intended to present a general layout and broad outline
and description of the project. And not necessary indicate, describe actual location levels
and distances of the equipment and fixtures. The contractor is hereby required to make
adjustments as per the PEC at the jobsite as to location, level, distance are governed by
actual field conditions

15. Any conflict between this general notes and the specifications, these general noted shall
govern.

16. The job shall be executed in the most prompt and workmanlike manner, employing standard
tools, equipment methods and good engineering practices.

17. All Electrical Installations shall be done under the direct and immediate supervision of a duly
Licensed Electrical Engineer practitioner.
