Greetings…Everyone that been placed on earth has a destiny. That is the
focus of Destiny Starting Point Welfare Association, Klang. Here we help
these young lives and the homeless & handicapped people to attain the
meaning of life and reach the destiny. We don’t give up on anyone .even
though when family forsakes them.

ABOUT US
Destiny Starting Point is specially designed
for Delinquent Boys and *Girls (from age 7-17),
whose parents and school authorities have difficulties in
stilling discipline in them.
The home’s aim is to restore these lives that have been
lured by undesirable elements and rebuild them to
become a healthy and productive.
Since moving to Pandamaran, in 1994, we often wondered what is our role was in this area.
We kept coming across and meeting troubled young teenagers and kids;
Involved in drugs, school dropout, gangsterism, etc… listening to our hearts, we started to bring
in some troubled kids or teenager into our own home..but were limited in time and space.
We did what we could by housing 3 boys of such cases in our home, but, more were
coming and we were limited in space. After much prayer and thinking we decided to start
a work among these “social ills” of society. We are convinced that this is what
we are called to do for our nation. Then on we moved into a bigger house and
spacious place in Taman Radzi.

Our 1st Home was established in September 2005.

Research shows that people become

what they are because of their environment.
Nobody is born to be a drug addicts,
gangster or a bad hat of society.
They are lured in to it over a course of time and circumstances. Gives an
opportunity they would like to make a life for themselves.
But they would need guidance, care counsel and love.
In Destiny Starting Point, we create an homely atmosphere for these young lives.
Home is a neutral environment where these young lives will be able to express
themselves; we also provide stability, love, secure and discipline.
 To rescue these young lives from their habits and environment.
To restore their destiny and identity.
To reconcile them with family and nation.
To reform their ways and actions.

Each individual would be given duration of 2 years or

more,
by which we hope some new solid,
good habits will be formed.
The individual will receive:

- training in basis skill

- basic hygiene classes
- counseling
- character building
- nature studies
- house chores
- talks to develop self
- sport & recreation
- motivation lesson
- tuition

We have 15 kids and two staffs.

Many of these boys are children of single mothers and they are
from rural area and poor background. Here in Destiny 2 we to
meet their basic needs and provide homely environment with
love and care.
Our 3rd begin in 1 June 2011. It is especially designed for girls from age 0f 7 to 18..who
would like to have new beginning in life.

12 March 2012 we started a new home for girls. Here we give the girls new life and purpose to move on and
look forward. Many here are given second chances to start again and they taught t o use their mistakes as a
stepping stone to reach their destiny.

 DESTINY HOME SCHOOLING

This Home Schooling specially designed for these delinquent girls and
boys. For pass few years, we have been facing some problems by
sending these teenagers to study in school. After a lot of efforts we
manage to open DESTINY HOME SCHOOLING where these kids and
teenagers study separately with selected teachers to teach them. Our
objective is to create a safe environment for these kids and teenagers
study without spoiling their reshaping environment in the home. Even the weakest of all
are given a chance to study.

Our teachers are trained to handle these young people and manage to control them. Our
classes divided into 4 classes.

Home for Handicapped and Homeless
This is our latest extension of Destiny families. This is a home specially design for
physically challenged and homeless old folks people.
We are trying to provide their basic needs without any charges.
 Mr. Muniandy was picked up from road side..rescued him
and gave him a new address and hope for his life.

Mr. Loke was brought in from Hospital Sg.Buloh, who

was forsaken by family and friends because he had HIV
positive …but after some time staying in our home he
passed peacefully …and we the Destiny Management
gave him a decent funeral.

Everyone comes in the Destiny Care Centre are given care, medication, healthy
food and many privileges which all human gets at his/her home.

Success stories

This is SATISWARAN s/o ARUMUGAM is now 18 years old. He was send by his parents
to the home because of his character problem. He was a school dropout and also
involved in bike robberies. After being 2 years in Destiny Starting Point, his now
studying form 5 and also a MSSD runner for the school. Upon completing form 5 he
wants to be a Policeman.

He is Jude Gan was brought by his mother (a single mother). He was uncontrollable and
expelled from 2 different school because he was caught stealing in several occasion in
other children’s bag in school. We managed to put him back to school and scored 5A’s in
his standard 6 Exam. His ambition to be an artist.

This is Sruthi, brought in by her parent. She was involved

in bad of group friend in school. Bad result in PMR. While
she is here she became school prefect and just completed
her Form 5 and while waiting for result. She is assisting in
Girls Home. She is in college doing Dip in Accountancy and
Multimedia Graphics.
This is Daniel Karthik.

Brought in by his adopted father. Expelled from 3 different schools. Broke discipline
teacher’s head with chair.Very hot tempered boy. We helped him to complete in his
Form 5 and now attained Diploma in Hotel Management and is chef in local hotel.

This is Barnabas

He is 10 years old. Brought in by his mum (a single mother), as she was not able send
him to school in regular basis. After staying in Destiny 1 a years ,he was able to attain
good result-5A (in last term exam) and no 2 in his class.

Destiny Desa Mentari, Sg Way

It’s extension of our Community Service in urban area. Here we help the
poor people by giving provision and giving tuition to helpless kids and
counseling trouble marriages and motivating single mothers.

Destiny Community Kindergarten

In a survey by the Jabatan Kebajikan, Selangor there more than 3000 kids age 4 – 6 are not
in Kindergarten because parents can’t afford to put in one. And most of them come from poor
Indian families.

This year 2016 we, the management of Destiny Starting Point Welfare Association took a
step to help these kids by establishing a small kiddy.

On the 4th Jan 2016, we started with 9 kids. And still working on reaching to the poor income
parents around Pandamaran, Port Klang,Bukit Tinggi and Sentosa.
 Destiny Starting Point Welfare Association, Klang is an organizing which
trying to bring solution to some of the problem faced by Indian community.

Everyone one born on earth has a solution to a problem.
