assessing your Application to the KKP Student Volunteer Formation Program.

1. Why do you want to be a KKP Student Volunteer? Expound on the reasons,

motivation/inspiration and expectations of your application
2. KKP Student Volunteers are trained and formed into “Leaders for Others” through
Formation Sessions & Skills Training. They are engaged not only inside the University
but extend themselves to the community outside through Issue Advocacy and
actual engagement with Community Leaders, Partners, and the Vulnerable Sectors.
In sum, KKP Student Volunteers are expected to live out the values of Faith that does
Justice, Active Non Violence, Human Dignity, Preferential option for the Poor,

The KKP Student Volunteer Formation Program is the flagship program of KKP Social Involvement
Office. The Program is aimed at organizing student volunteers and provide social formation and
community engagement through sessions and assistance to KKP’s programs with the community.
Student Volunteers are engaged in doing Advocacy and Leadership Formation which involves not
only the XU Community but most importantly the communities it has partnered for many years now.

Tutoring children scholars, Managing Advocacy, Organizing Quick Response, Spearheading forums
and awareness campaigns, Facilitating trainings with fellow students and community members are
some of the volunteer work we expose our volunteers to help deepen and strengthen their
commitment to social responsibility and in the process form well-grounded and conscientious
individuals.

We are pleased to inform you that your child has expressed his/her interest of applying to the KKP
Student Volunteer Formation Program. Although this is a personal decision, we recognize the
importance of informing parents’ and making you part of your child’s formation.

KKP is one with the University in “forming men and women for others”. We enjoin you in this mission and
