Dear Sir:

In compliance with the requirement of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and
a major requirement for completion of the course in Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
(BSChE), the upcoming fifth year chemical engineering students prior to graduation are required
to undergo an actual on-site training in industrial plants relevant to the scope of work of a
chemical engineer. Further, our Department also strives to produce chemical engineers that are
competent in both theoretical knowledge and actual experience of the profession.

With this in mind, I am recommending three (3) of our upcoming fifth year students for
1st semester, SY 2018-2019 to go through an on-site training or practicum in various departments
of your Company related to chemical or industrial processing. I am requesting that the students
be accommodated for practicum on April 9, 2018 to May 18, 2018 at 8hours per day for 30 days
or a total of 240 hours duration of duty. The following are the students who would like to avail
