 My artwork looks serious and not really

happy. The subject matter is trash and

homelessness. The title of my work is

Homelessness and Trash in the LA Area.

Some of the elements most obvious in my

work are color, line, and shape. Also, some

principles that are found in my art work are

emphasis and contrast.

The media that my artwork is made from

is digital photography. The tools I used to

make my artwork is a digital camera. The

technique I used is to move my body around.

By doing that it makes it easier to get the

angles I want for my work. I also used photo

shop in my work to make it look better if

needed.

 I was inspired by my mom. She told me that I

should learn on how to take better pictures. Also

she always complains about the issue with trash/

homelessness in the neighborhood. I try to show

serious and sad emotions in my artwork.

My goals as an artist is to become a good

photographer. This piece made me improve in my

photography skills and changed my way of looking

at a camera. I now know that you can control the

whole photo by moving your body.

What I learned from my artwork is that this

was a good way to inform people about this issue

in the community. The final piece is not yet

finished but it is looking good so far. This piece

can help my future art work by making me look

back to make corrections.

 Angel Cuevas was born in Los Angeles,

California. He was born on February 10, 2004. His

experience in photography was obtained in a

photography class in high school. What interested

him in photography is that you can create memories.

He chose this topic because he thought that is would

be fun and exciting. Also because he wanted to

learn how to take good pictures and better pictures.

He has learned that in photography, the

photographer controls everything. This means that

he can place and move objects where ever he

wants. He can also be which ever height and which

ever angle. The photographer can also change the

amount of light he wants in a picture, this makes the

picture lighter or darker.
