Appreciation essay

There are many people that have helped me a lot through my high school career,

but there is only one person that has helped me a lot, this person helped me deal with stress, my

ups and downs that i had during school and still does till this day. This person that im talking

bout is my mom. My mom has helped me with a lot these past 4 years of high school. She has

helped me deal with many stressful moments that i was going through, whether it was

homework, or even a bad grade that i got and helped me get encouraged to bring that grade back

up, anything that i needed help with, she was there.

Math was one of the subjects where i was having the most trouble in. This past year,

which was my junior year, i was having a very stressful moment in my math class because i

didn't want to fail and have to retake that class again. I had a D in that class, and i was very

stressed and worried because i wanted to pass that class. I had told my mom that my grade in that

class was something that i wasn't proud about, and she agreed with me, because she knows i'm

not a bad student and that i'm always responsible with my things. She told me to keep my head

up, and just focus because she knew i was able to do it. At the end of the semester, i checked my

grade in my math calss, and after my final test, i went from having a D, to having a B in that

class because i studied hard for the test, and my mom encouraged me to do my best in that

subject, and it worked. This is why my mom is my biggest admirer, and I really appreciate what
