Political Factor
Hashwani Group follows the rules and regulations instated by the government. They also abide
by the government laws for tax policies and complete its responsibilities in a better manner. They
use strategies that comply with the laws set by the government. Political instability does have a
direct impact upon the Hashwani hotels as it adversely affects the tourism strategies.

Economic Factor
Hotel industry in Pakistan has been under a lot of stress in the past few years due to the severity
drives launched by the successive government, the deteriorating law and order situation in the
country and continued duty of large number of taxes. This industry is dependent upon the
business and tourist activity in the country. In Pakistan, repeated efforts with the government to
come to the rescue of the hotel industry have so far been all in vein. The business activity in
Pakistan has overall remained sluggish

Social Factors
At the present age the literacy rate of Pakistan is high and due to the advent of new government,
the social factors are diversely effected. Only the upper class people can afford to stay couple of
nights.

Technological Factor
The creative use of new technology often gives the competitive advantage this kind of
environment does not change quickly but it brings out disastrous changes for the industry. The
administration of Hashwani Group claim that they have the latest technology of services and
security and they also say that there way is much different than its competitors. The idea being
this was to provide consumer with their best services.

Legal Factors
Hashwani Group always follows the rules and regulations given by the government. They also
keep their information system up to date about the happenings in the hospitality industry. They
also have some legal laws like: They don’t believe in under 18 workers working for them
because they consider it an unethical and against the environmental regulations and because they
follow the consumer protection regulations etc.

Environmental Factors
They are highly concerned about the environment. They set a sound check on whether they are
following the rules and regulations set by the society. Like PC hotel uses the electronic
machinery which does not give out the radiations. The chiller plant and the electricity machine is
placed so that no radiation is passed out in environment. The fresheners are placed in every
corner of the rooms. The waste products are disposed off in the sealed pipes.

Economic forces:
Economic forces have ha direct impact on the potential attractiveness of
various strategy. In economic we deal with the state of economy, level of disposal income and
consumer spending patterns. For our Hashwani Groups the factors which affect our company in
under such forces are:-

 .Demand shifts for different categories of services and goods

All these factors are correlated with each other our company target just two classes lead class and
upper middle class and we deal with Hashwani Hospitality only. If the inflation rate increase
people purchasing power goes down it don't affect the lead class but it affect upper middle class
and their propensity to spend reduce while having desire. Roller price directly affect the
company because our company mostly import the products with the rise of dollar price they go
for local products which affect its quality image. Government allow Hashwani group to take
large amount of credit because of its large business which is strength of Hashwani. With the
increase of health issues demand shifted for different services they focus on natural food
company have the opportunity to focus their needs and serve in that way and gain profit and
more customers.

Political forces deal with change in political arena and new laws and regulations.
Factors which lie in this forces according to our company are:-

Taxes not only affect the company but also the customers if the taxes increase we charge more
taxes in services or product by customers in the result we loss baily base customers as we now
over competitor less charge compare to us and capture our customers. In political condition
current government motivate the tourism sector which is great opportunity for our company and
we gain revenue. In equal employment law government apply conditions to all companies do not
do gender, religion, race and culture baiseness which affect the company in positive way
diversity increase. Our company provide the funding to the government just one time but its a
opportunity for us to do funding in any activities through which our company have a support of
government.
Social, culture, demographic and environmental force:
In such force we concentrate on social and culture trends,demographic change and what
people think is 'in'. The factors which include in this are:-

When the people of other countries moves to our country its a opportunity for us to established
more hotels and get profit. Our company don't do much social activities like gaming or other
types of activities they should do that
Or take part in welfare activities to remain in front of public and they must do advertising to
attain more customers they also target middle class by providing services which is low in price.
PC hotel also focus on the life style of people they focus on values and trends of nation and also
give the services what people want and desire to have. Hashwani group also improve its waste
management system by importing machine from China to clean the environment and water
pollution. Here are halogen incandescent, compact florescent lamps etc. these kind of bulbs have
more life time and are energy efficient. Secondly, our company has placed the DC invertors in
their hotels because they are both cost efficient as well as energy efficient.

As we have chosen the hospitality field of our company, so the major source by which they consume
energy is, the electricity. As we all know that hotels are the places where the electricity is consumed in
large quantity, because of the large structure of the building which may have thousands of energy
appliances. Bedsides this, a number of customers are there in a hotel so there is a huge use of electricity.
So it is essential to use the energy efficient techniques in order to conserve energy. So our also uses some
techniques. First of all we would like to tell you about the types of lights which are placed in the hotels of
hashwani group. There are LED bulbs, bedside this there are halogen incandescents, compact flouresent
lamps etc. these kind of bulbs have more life time and are energy efficient.Secondly, our company has
placed the DC invertors in their hotels because they are both cost efficient as well as energy efficient.
 Pollution Control:
In order to save the environment from the pollution, the company ensures the proper waste
disposal system and sweeping system in the hotel. They have sweepers available there every
time to clean up the flours of the hotels and pick up any kind of garbage if thrown on the flours
and throw them in to the bin. Secondly, the company has the labor which deals with the
garbage and pollution management. The garbage is disposed of by properly through the waste
transportation and carrier channel. This how the company have maintained the system of
waste management, waste disposal and pollution control.

As we know that our competitors Nishat, Ambassador, Ramada, Hotel one Sawat Serena Hotel
these all are having the same capabilities and services which they are serving to the customers so
there is high competition.
 When Barriers to leaving the market are high

Our firm invest a large amount of capital in this industry so it is very difficult to withdraw from
this industry so the rivalry among the competitors become high.

When new firms can easily entry a particular industry the intensity of competitiveness among
firm increase.

Hashwani hotels strong customer loyalty tends to be the barriers in the existing
competing firms. If the new firm enter in this industry, initially that firm cannot give a
tough time to our firm.

As we know that the new government policies is to enhance the tourist sector, so the new
firm enter in this industry is facilitated by the government via subsidies or decreasing tax
laws.
3. Potential Development of substitute products
Our substitute firms include Serena Hotel, Ramada Plaza .etc. all these firms are the better
sources for the substitutes because comparatively to Hashwani hotels these firms provide
considerably lesser price and in result it creates pressure to our firms. There are 2 points if our
competitors give the substitute services or facilities in less cost than we can also decease our
cost rate and give the same facilities to the customers on the other hand if we give more good
facilities as compare to our competitors firms then we can gain more customers.

The buying power of our suppliers are high this is because they are using backward
integration. On the other hand they are also small in number.

5 Bargaining power of customers


The bargaining power of our customer is high. This is because our customers mostly belong
to a lead class or upper middle class. These two classes directly impact our services for example
Infrastructure, value order services.
