1. Treatment
This manual is mentioning regards of how to operate & maintain the machine and to safety
instructions. Before operating the machine, please carefully read this manual for your safety and to
keep the machine under the good condition for a long period. This manual would be also useful when
you place an order of any spare-parts or keep this manual always near the machine.

1-1 For you safety


Following signals are to give an attention and guide an operator to a proper and safe operation of
the machine, which is also to prevent any danger or injury from improper operation of the
machine.

It could be injured or lead to death in the event of improper handling or the


machine

It could be injured, or part can be damaged in case of improper handling of the


machine

Operator's hand could be injured in case of improper treatment of the


machine

1-2 In case of moving

- In case of lifting up by liftting machine, do not go under the machine. The mass weight of
the machine may cause great danger in case of falling down.
- In case of moving by vehicle, the rope fixing should be avoid to the front cover and the
busbar supporter. Always using side and rear phase.
- In case of loading to vehicle, must maintain the space between each products. In case of
collision it may cause damage the machines.
- In case of loding in or out of vehicle, more that two peoples have to treat, because of mass
weight of the machine.
- In case of transproting, please avoid from wet and rain, it cause corrision and
deterloration of the machine.

1-3 Keeping
Installation of machine should be installed at once after arrival, but in case of keeping some peroid,
please consider as followings;
1) High temperature and humidity make the machine deterioation. Please keep packing and placing
it in dry place. incase of be inserted dust into machine, it may cause damaging machine.
2) Prevent collision, please avoid keeping machine in dust, generating harmful gas and ourdoor.
3) keep the machine in plain place and maintain the space from the ground. And do not use the
machine as footboard.

1-4 Considerations before operation

Before running the machine, always inspect the check-points under mentioned,
Are there any dangerous devices, instruments or situatins near the machine?
Make sure that the power supply has been properly connected?
All switches inside control box is turned on?
Lamp on the operating board is lighting?
Power S/W on the operating board is turned on?
Rust preventive oil has been regularly smeared over the machine?
Lubricating Oil has been regularly smeared over the machine, especially on the moving
part, the side slide on the Cutting and Bending part.

1-5 Consideration in case of operation


Please do not contact to main circuit, control circuit and terminal board which is flowing electricity.

1-6 Consideration in case of maintenance or exchange of parts


1) Maintenance or exchanging each parts should be conducted by electric engineer or specialists.
2) The bolt in Terminal box should be locked by standard Torque driver, and add the torque as time
passing by.
3) Always check the inside the machine after turning off the main breaker and checking electricity is not
flowing. You will be in a danger if your hand and equipments is inserted in machine part.

4. How to install the machine


4-1 Place the machine on plat and solid ground to let the mahine stable.
4-2 By using 6 balancing bolts placed bottom of machine, fit it into vertical line.
4-3 After making balancing bolts close to the ground by twisting balancing bolts in clock direction,
please make wheels detach from the ground about 2~3cm.
4-4 Turn the Lock Nut counter colck direction to fix balancing bolts.

Do not place machine where it is moisturized or sunny

5-1 Open the "Terminal Box", and there is a terminal block indicating R, S, T & N phase.

If the phase is differently connected with each phase of Power Source, the motor
does not start to stir. It means that the cylinder is moved in opposite direction. In
this case, you have to change the connection between R and S phase each other.

6-1-2 The formation of Punch

6-1-3 Installation punching mold

1. Insert Punch into the Punch Holder. Always sure that the direction of Pin Slot and Slot is same
direction.
2. Insert Punch Lock Cap into Punch Holder and turn the Punch Lock Cap clock direction to
fasten the Punch to Punch Holder.

In case of Oval hole Punch & Die,


each longer direction of Punch &
Die must be correspondent. If the
hole directions of Punch &* Die is
not at same direction, Punch and/or Die are
possible to be borken and the broken parts
may cause injury.

6-1-4 How to install Die


1) Put Die into Die seat to the end of Die seat.
2) Using 6mm Wrench, lock the bolts of clamps placed to Die Seat left and right.
3) Using your hand, push the Die to the Die Seat in ordr to prevent sliding out Die from the Die Seat.

If the direction between Punch Slot and Punch Holder Pin slot are not the same
direction, the Pin Slot will take in to the Punch Holder, and the punch should not
fit in to the punch holder. In that case, Unbolt the Tug Bolt on the Punching
Cylinder and pull out the punch holder from the Punching part, and take steps
as shown in Picture

6-1-5 How to exchage Die

1) In case of Round Punch, just put the die


into Die Seat.
2) In case of Oval Punch, there are two
groove at the Oval Die. Set this groove
front side to lead the tip of Bolt(M$) into
this groove. Softly push the Die down
into Die Seat and lock the Die Fixing
Bolt.

6-1-6 How to operate a punching section


1. Turn on three switches in the Terminal Box, and
“Power” lamp is lighting.
2. Turn “Busbar” switch to “ON”, and the hydraulic motor
will start.
3. Push “Hyd On”, and the hydraulic motor will start.
4. Make sure whether “Punching Section” is moving or
not when you push “UP” and “Down”
5. Push “Emergency” button whenever there is any
dangerous cases, or you want to stop the machine.

If the phase is differently connected with each phase of power source, the motor
does not start to stir, it means that the cylinder is moved in opposite direction. In
this case, you have to change the connection between R and S-Phase each other.

6-1-7 How to Punch

1. Fix the Punch and Die explained above.


2. Push "Down" or Put "Foot Switch" down slowly in order to make sure the Punch goes into the
Die hole without touching each other. Always make sure that there is not eccentric between
Punch & Die.

Always make sure that the each direction of Punch and Die should be in the same
direction.

3. Place the Busbar on "Die Seat". Make sure "Center Pointer" goes down exactly at the center of
punching position.
4. Push "Foot Switch" down, and complete a Punching work.
5. Make sure whether the scrap comes out through "Scrap Way".

The cylinder will be automaticaly moving upward if the pressure is higher up to


setting position or when it touches a down-limit switch.

In case of cylinder moving, never put your hands or other body. It may cause big
injury. After pushing "Emergency" button in order to stop the motor, put your
hands or other body between the molds.,

If the scrap does not come out, the scrap is gathered under "Die Seat".
It is possible to cause a damage with Punch or Die. Push the end of "Scrap
Passway" down to more incline.

The machine has three pieces of Foot Switches. It drives each section
downwards only. When it touches a down-limit switch, each section is
automatcaly moving upward.

6-1-8 Punching Guide


The Punching Guide is newly developed device enable for user to mass punching conveniently. If
you want to punching on the any point on the busbar, you just set the three guides on the point of
rulers, and it will regulate the punching point easily.

"Horizontal Adjustor" is indicated the holizontally distance from the center line of Busbar.
"Vertical Adjustor" is indicated the vertical distance from the end of Busbar.
For example, there is a Busbar sized Width 100mm. if you want to punch a hole at the center of the
busbar and 25mm distance from the upper end of Busbar, set "Horizontal Adjustor" at 25mm
point. set "Vertical Adjustor" at 50mm point. Horizontal AdjustorVertical Adjustor

In case of vertical Adjustor, if you want to punch over 60mm on the ruller, you
should remove the auxiliary unit by un fastening two bolt. After then you can
punch with the size of over 60 mm busbar.

Busbar can be place either front, left & right side. There is no need to re-place
oblong Punch & Die when it requires to punch oblong hole in other direction on
the busbar.

Punching Stopper Auxiliary Unit

It is a very useful unit for user to punching busbar with under 15mm width and 5mm thickness. Just
attached to the existing punching stopper for preventing dreagging up of Busbar after punching.

7. Cutting part

7-1 Name of Cutting Part

In the model No. NSB-601, installed Shearing way of Cutting Blade. After cutting, there will be
no Scrap. The cutting edge is resulted in as following drawing-one side is fine right angle and
the other side is a little rounded, which is caused by the other side is pushed to backward when
it is cut. If this side needs in right angle edge, cut this side again by 4~5mm length after set this
busbar turned on the working table.

In case of cylinder moving, never put your hands or other body. It may cause big
injury. After pushing "Emergency" button in order to stop the motor, put your
hands or other body between the molds.

Always make sure that the busbar must be placed at the middle of cutting blade.
If the buabar is placed to the left or right side whenever it is, the frame is
possible to be slightly distorted after long period works.

8. Bending section

8-1
Two branch of Bending mold is affixed
in basic, T10mm, T15mm. The V-
Block(T10) Under can be used when it
is to bend a busbar of thickness less
than T10, and the V-Block(T15) Under
can be used when it is to bend a
busbar of thickness more than
T10mm.

8-2 V-bolck Upper have 2 different radius as show on drawing.


The side of small radius(R5) is matching with V-Block(T10),
when the busbar less than T10 is to be bended. The side of large
radius(R10) is matching with V-Block(T15) when the busbar more
than T10 is to be bended. B-Block Upper is turning to change
each small and large radius by taking Pin-Block( 8 80) out
or in.

8-3 2pcs of Pin-Stopper ( 6 30) are to position the busbar straight against bending line.
Push the busbar to touch with 2pcs Pin-Stopper just before bending is done. 2pcs Pin-
Stopper can be moved to position or according to busbar width to position the busbar at
middle of the V-Block.

8-4 The Minimum busbar bending size.

8-5 How to adjust pressure


8-5-1 It the pressure is too high, it causes an big impact noise when it in touching to bottom, and
V-Block Upper is possibly not to automatically goes up after touching the bottom.
8-5-2 If the pressure is not enough against busbar thicness, the busbar couldn't be bended as
enouth as required angle.
8-5-3 As show like left picture, the bending pressure can be adjusted in consideration of busbar
thickness, width and bending angle.

8-6 The standard V-Block is designed to bend 90 at general condition. However if there are
large quantity of busbar with same size to be bended at the same angle less than 90 . this
device is very useful.

1. There is Bending Adjustor right side of angle at the bottom of machine.


2. If Indicator-Angle is indicated “1”, the bended angle will be 90 .
3. If you turn the Aujustor handle to right direction, the Angle-Indicator will be decended, and
the bended angle will less that 90 .
4. After checking the angle of bended busbar, and the angle reaches right degree, fix the
Angle-Indicator and continue process.

Each number on scale does not mean by each specified angle, and the figures
are for reference only.
For example in case of indicator sets at number 4, it doesn't mean by a fixed and
specified bending angle because of the angle could be varied according to the
thickness, width and strength of each busbar itself.

9. Optional Accessories
9-1 203, 403/RST&Single Phase

9-1-1 Feature
These blocks are applicable when small size busbar is formed to be usable for a fabrication of
small sized Switchgear Box or Distributing Board(Panel). You can use Bracked for bending, and
want to punch on the bended busbar you can use Punching Mold for Busbar Formed as 203/403
Mold.

9-1-2 How to install

1. Pull Fixing Pin out of V-Block Upper.


2. Attach "Block-Upper" to the face of "V-Block Upper" that has a long groove on the surface,
and lock the bolt(M8 40).
3. Turn and let the block to downward, and lock the Bracket
4. Set the Block Under as show drawing.

9-2-1 How to install the Terminal Clamping Tools


1. Terminal Clamper consists of a fair(Upper & Under)
2. Take "Fixture V-block" out.
3. Attach one piece of Clamper to the face of "V-Block Upper" that has a small square groove on the
surface, and lock the bolt(M8 55)
4. Set "Clamper-Seat" base inside of bending section, and place the other clamper at the groove on
"Clamper Seat"
5. Fasten the Bracing Bracket on the bending section for fixing the upper mold.
6. Place a Terminal(lug) wire inserted on the clamper, and complete the clamping work

Make sure whether the bending pressure is suitable enough to clamp the
terminal. Adjust bending pressure with "Pressure Controler"

10-3. Limit Switch Treatment for NSB-606A and NSB-607


10-3-1 Punching Part

If the rising cylinder touch No.1 limit switch, the cylinder will automatically stop

For reason of trouble at NO.1 limit Switch or Solenoid Valve, if the cylinder rise up and touch
the No.2 switch, the power will be shut down and the cylinder will not be moved.

NO.3. Rising Limit Adjustor


If you turn the wheel to right direction, the distance between cylinder and NO.2 switch will get
wider. It means that No.2 Switch will work again, and the power will be resumed.

NO.4. Punch Descending Limit Switch.


If the descending cylinder touch No.4 limit switch, the chylinder will automatically stop.

NO.5 Emergency Stop for NO.4 Limit Switch


For reason of trouble at NO. limit Switch or Solenoid Valve, if the cylinder rise up and touch the
NO.5 switch, the power will be shut down and the cylinder will not be moved.

NO6. Descending Limit Adjustor


If you turn the wheel to left direction, the distance between cylinder and NO.5 switch will get
wider. It means that No.5 Switch will work again, and the power will be resumed.

10-3-2 Bending & Cutting Part


1. If Bending Cylinder rise up and touch the "L/S B1", the
main power of the machine will be blocked and machine
will be not responded.
Check the "L/S B1" whether it has problem.
Check the Solenoid Valve controling Bending Part.
Check the Relay No. "CR 32" in the Terminal Box.

2. If Bending Cylinder descend down and touch the "L/S B2",


the main power of the machine will be blocked and
machine will be not responded.
Check the "L/S B2" whether it has problem.
Check the Solenoid Valve controling Bending Part.
L/S B2 L/S B1 P/S B3 Check the Relay No. "CR 31" in the Terminal Box.

3. Check whether the "P/S B3" is out of position to anti-


clock wise direction. Fasten to Clockwise direction.

If Limit Switch(L/S), Solenoid Valves, Relay are having a problem itself, please
replace with the right part.

10-4 Pressure Switch


In the case of Cylinder not descending, check the Pressure switch is turned to anti-clock wise, it
means that the pressure is very low, please turn the pressure switch to clock wise direction and
precede.

Always make sure that the pressure digit is at 120 bar for preventing damage to
the machine and mold.
