Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co. Ltd (SMEC) is the largest Sino-Japan joint venture in China, this
joint venture was established in 1987 between Mitsubishi Electric (Japan) 40% of share and
Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Industry Co. Ltd. 60% of share, to manufacture leading
cutting edge elevators equipment’s, and in the same time it’s the world largest Elevator factory,
with 38,000 Units sold in 2009 and accumulative 258,000 units total volume at the end of 2009
while keeping No.1 market share in international market for the last 10 years continuously.

Installing a Cibes lift is fast, inexpensive and very easy. Our lift solutions require no pit, no
separate machine room nor ventilation system for the shaft. In addition, most of our vertical lifts

Cobiax Technology is based on generating specific hollows inside a reinforced concrete slab.
Massive concrete is replaced by synthetic void formers and remains only in statically relevant

A slab formwork is an excellent solution to build easily and quickly the horizontal load-bearing
