To Whom It May Concern,

This letter is to recommend Mrs. Tyler Stanton for the position she has applied for. I have known Mrs. Stanton at
Pangborn Elementary School since the 2012 school year in the capacity of a 5th/4th grade teacher, grade level team
leader, co-chairperson of the School Climate Committee, and as a mentee for the Frostburg State University Masters in
Administration Degree Program. Mrs. Stanton is a dedicated professional who strives toward building and improving
her capacity as a teacher on a regular basis.

Mrs. Stanton is knowledge of both ELA and Math instruction and is well versed in utilizing planning structures and
instructional strategies related to recent WCPS initiatives. She regularly attends county wide professional development
sessions, is an active participant during CFIP sessions, and is a strong leader among her team in terms of planning units
of instruction collaboratively. As a result, Mrs. Stanton has willingly opened her classroom for colleagues within our
school and from across the county to visit. For example, CES mentors have brought teachers from multiple schools to
Mrs. Stanton’s classroom for the purpose of seeing lesson delivery and to receive tips associated with the planning,
instructional delivery, and classroom management process.

Mrs. Stanton has facilitated several EdCamp sessions across all grade levels related to ELA strategies that support the
individual needs of students through conferencing and data collection that leads toward independence. This experience
has ignited Mrs. Stanton’s passion for instructional leadership and has led her toward establishing mentoring and
coaching opportunities among a variety of staff.

While losing Mrs. Stanton as part of our Pangborn team would be a loss for us, I am happy to recommend her for the
position she is applying. Mrs. Stanton will be a valuable addition to your team.
