※ Confirm that the voltage and frequency shown on the label are exactly the same as
that of the power source.
※ Do not apply excessive tension on the lead wire or the terminal box, otherwise
major damage to the expansion valve may result.
※ Mount two quick fusible fuses on the power source line of the expansion valve (outlet
side of controller)
※ If there is a potential for dew generation on the expansion valve, attach a leak breaker
on the power source line of the valve and fill the terminal box of the expansion valve
with silicon grease.
■ Connect the quick fusible fuse in the terminal box of the expansion valve

‧ If the expansion valve is forcibly opened at the commencement of cooling down operation
or the valve is impressed continuously at 100% opening, the temperature of the molded
coil will exceed the heat resistance limit and burn out the coil.

WARNING
‧ Maintenance work of the expansion valve should be carried out only when
there is no power supply, otherwise there is potential for electric shock.
‧ Disassembly of the expansion valve should be performed only af ter disposition
of any refrigerant remaining inside the valve.
‧ When ON-OFF frequency reaches two million cycles or within one year following
previous maintenance, whichever comes first, renew the NP ori fice assembly,
NP plunger assembly and t he plunger case together.
