THE GIFT OF THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

Introduction

The word of knowledge is not the gift of knowledge for only God knows everything. It is the
gift of the word of Knowledge. The "word", a part of God's vast reservoir of knowledge. The
word is "Logos" - word, matter, concern. It is not necessarily spoken. It is somehow revealed.

A. What is the Word of Knowledge?

It is the supernatural revelation by the Holy Spirit of certain facts in the mind of God.

God knows everything including our past, present and future. He sees everything clearly.
The word of knowledge is when God chooses to reveal to us part or some of what He
knows, supernaturally. Not everything is revealed, only that which is necessary at that
given moment.

B. How does the Gift Operate?

1. Visions and Dreams Acts 9:10-12

3. Feelings or Impressions.

4. Knowing.

C. How to know if it is God?

1. You received the knowledge supernaturally

2. Test it by finding out if it is true.

3. Always be open to accepting it may have been the flesh.

4. Know it is God before claiming so.
