Early Cold War Presidents

 The Cold War
”The Cold War was waged on political, economic, and propaganda fronts
and had only limited recourse to weapons”. The Cold war started
because a lot of things the United States. One major conflict was how
capitalist hated communism and was very hostile towards it. Like when
the U.S used the atomic bombs against USSR. Or when the the united
states started Nato with France and The United Kingdom.
 Truman's fight in the Cold War
Truman made sure the Cold War wasn't a physical fought war and
helped with the following..

- Berlin Airlift
- Keeping the world safe from World War 2
- Spreading communism
- Soviet expansion
 Eisenhower's fight in the Cold War
- December 1950 left to become Supreme Commander of NATO
forces in Europe.
- His time in office was dominated by the Cold War. In July 1953, he
agreed to an armistice to end the fighting in Korea. He also
guaranteed US protection for South Vietnam.
 Kennedys fight in the Cold War
- “ Kennedy warned of the Soviet's growing arsenal of intercontinental
ballistic missiles and pledged to revitalize American nuclear forces.”
- He sent 1400 exile from Guatemala to take over the communist
but failed horribly by either the 1400 getting killed or captured
this was called The Bay Of Pigs.
- The Cuban Missile Crisis(CMC) was when Cuban started having
technical problems such as communication between countries
which finally came to an agreement in the end to not fire
missiles at each other.
 Opinion
We believe that Truman did the most during his time because for one he
helped a lot of people. The Berlin Airlift helped people from starving and
provided for those in need. He also made the Monroe Doctrine giving
billions of dollars to rebuild homes and buildings for work.
