Objectives:

- Select questions

- write paragraph to insert before questionnaire

- write letter for asking for help with survey (asking people to send to their colleagues)

- talk to the 2 other healthcare professionals

- email 1st healthcare professional to follow up

Journal:

I learned that I need to select questions from pre-existing questionnaires, so I will use the

questions I came up with as guidelines or examples for what I’m looking for. However, Ms

Robinson recommended that I ask if I could create my own questions with the help of an

international expert (her), since most questions from other questionnaires won’t give me the data

I’m looking for. I am studying something different from most surveys, and I haven’t really found

any survey questions that are exactly what I’m looking for. I talked to Ms. Sasser about this and

she said that it would be hard and almost impossible to have the survey vetted if I came up with

it. Also, I am not really skilled enough to make my own survey. I am continuing to use the format

from other surveys, but I think I might be able to use my own questions. I am planning on

discussing it with Ms Sasser more later. I am going to email the health professionals I had in

mind to let them know what I am doing, etc (5 w’s). I might follow up with the healthcare

professional that I interviewed on February 16th, since he did not respond to my last email.
