This role required me to quickly learn and understand how to use a variety of motor-operated
equipment, clean inside/ outside of all schools in the division, as well as maintain planters, trees

quickly and adapt to new work environments. I enjoyed the opportunity to interact with

Forum for Young Canadians is an Ottawa-based organization that brings high school students

University of Lethbridge Entrance in 2014, I returned on two separate occasions as a Logistics Member, working behind the scenes
Awards (2016/ 2017) and on the front lines to ensure the week went by smoothly. Responsibilities included
chaperoning and touring students around Ottawa, contacting and hosting Members of
Premier’s Citizenship Award 2014 Parliament, as well as event coordination and office work.

I volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters for five years as a mentor to five different children in
three different programs (teen mentorship, in-school mentorship, and the traditional program).
TEDx keynote speaker for It was a rewarding and humbling experiencing to watch my mentees grow, evolve and mature. I
Youth@Lethbridge event 2013 especially enjoyed the traditional program, where I spent time with my mentee for 2-3 hours a
week for one year. We established a great relationship of comradery, trust and fun. Part of my
Leader of Tomorrow Volunteer role as this child’s mentor was to develop a relationship with her family with open and
