quizzes (Q) 65 80
practical exercises (PE) 40 60
105 140
Adjusted Q+PE (105/140)x100=75 (140/140)x100=100

recitation 5 20
PRE-FINAL SCORE 80 120

70% (Pre-final) 56 84

FINAL EXAM raw score 90 120

Adjusted FINAL EXAM raw score (90/120)x100=75 (120/120)x100=100
30% (Final exam) 22.5 30

TOTAL SCORE 78.5 114

PROJECT SCORE 5 5

work in one (1) subject, s/he SHALL be dropped from the subject.

For a one (1) unit course, total hours = 16 hours x 20% = 4 hours

WHETHER EXCUSED OR NOT EXCUSED, allowable absences CANNOT exceed 3

hours or you will be “forced dropped” on your 4th absence.

• A faculty member may prescribe a longer attendance requirement to

meet a special need.

• If majority of the absences are excused, a student shall not be given

a grade of “5” upon being thus dropped (often referred to as “forced
dropped”);

• If majority of the absences are not excused, the student SHALL be

given a grade of “5” upon being thus dropped.

• Time lost by late enrolment shall be considered as time lost by

absence.

8. STUDYING FOR THE COURSE

8.1. Hard copies of module outlines are available at the Office of the
Secretary.

8.2. Access the digital copy of the course outlines by opting in, i.e., giving
your email addresses through your class beadle so you can be given an email
invite to have access to the Dropbox app folder containing the outline and
other course materials. Due to the dynamic nature of technology, module
outlines are reviewed and revised each semester so do not depend on old
outlines of previous students.

8.3. You are expected to read the laws, cases, readings and view the recommended
videos WHETHER these are actually discussed in class or not. All outline
materials are used for quizzes and final exams.

9. Provide a clear passport-sized photo which can fit in a small-size folder

showing your seating arrangement.
