“i have no color prejudices nor caste prejudices.

All i care to know is that a man is a

human being and that is enough for me, he can’t be any worse” - Mark Twain

My teacher once shared his teaching expirience in an inland Papua

(easternmost province of Indonesia). As a province on the outermost island and the
furthest from the capital city, developments in this area are still lagging behind
because it is difficult to achieve and arguably its construction is the last priority for the
government. As a result development such as access to transportation and other
infrastructure in the province is underdeveloped. Due to this lack of access this place
is isolated from outside world and information. Let alone having a smartphone and
internet to obtain information, even electricity still does not exist in some villages. My
teacher told me how poor education still in Papua today. Most of them −from
children to adults− couldn’t even count number, write, and read. Even more pathetic,
they are actually passionate and really want to study like other people, but it is very
unfortunate that they have not had proper access to get the opportunity. When my
teacher had to go back, they all cried and begged him to stay and keep teaching
them. Teacher is rarely available in there, my teacher and two of his friend was the
only teacher at the time. And after their time was up, no one even know when will
they got a new teacher again to teach them. With a situation like this, the knowledge
that has been learned at that time will soon disappear, because after that, they will
not be taught again in a pretty long period of time. Then when the new teacher
arrives, the lesson needs to start again from the beginning and in the end, they will not
moving anyforward. while me and my friends are enjoying more than decent life here.

Inequalities are a global challenge. They persist both within all countries and
between them. Similar kinds of inequalities are faced in common by people across
the world. Inequalities are not just problems for the people whose lives are most
directly affected. They have deep consequences for everyone in society. Inequalities
harm us all. Among these consequences are: reductions in the pace and sustainability
of economic growth; diminishment of the productive potential of all who are harmed
and excluded, and the loss of this potential to society; the worsening of existing
fragilities and vulnerabilities, including to conflict and disasters; and the weakening of
social cohesion and of security for all. Addressing inequalities is not only the right thing
in principle, but also vital in ensuring that we have a sustainable and peaceful world.

inequalities essentially affect individuals and groups suffering multiple human

rights deprivation. Typically, marginalized and excluded groups lag behind in the
enjoyment of one particular right due to lack of access to other rights such as decent
jobs, food, housing, health, sexual and reproductive health rights, information,
education, participation, physical integrity or judicial remedies.

As we prosper through time, inequality is slowly less evident. A lot of people don't
realize that although things are improving with time, inequality is still prominent in our
society. The people that are failing to realize that there still is inequality, are the fortunate
ones. They rise well above the poverty line, and usually live relatively economically
sound lives. They are the people who are supplied with our society's benefits.
Not intended to pretend sympathy, somehow these kind of issues really bother
me and i ................. until how many generations will them who are affected stay like
this?
Form a comunity and continue the volunteer program appeals to me, as this is the first
thing we can do as the student of ‘creating a good society in the future’ faculty. It can
be anything, teaching english for the locals and children for instance. Because as an
international student, I know the pains of learning English as a second language.

As the tickets were sold out, we gained huge profit. And we donated half for the
mendicant. Last, our club also made new program, which was volunteering to teach
children who are interested in art but less capable (financially) to go to school or join
an art club. And these children were really happy to learn. Seing their excitement we
decided to make a small theatre project, because we want them to have vessel and
chance to express their talents like other kids.

What made me proud the most, i was able to help others with my own work, not only
money but knowledge too, while also achieved my dream as a pianist. Even though
it was only a small help and had no big impact reconigzing that i am still just a high
school student.
