Letter No.CEE/5454/2018/KEAM2019/TA1 from the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations dated 16.02.2019 As per the Government Order read as 1" paper above, Government approved the Prospectus for Admission to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2019 (KEAM ). As per the letter read as 3 paper above, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations reported that the clause 6.2.3(a) regarding Minimum. Academic Fligibiliry Criteria for BArch Admission of the KEAM 2019 Prospectus is to be amended according to the NATA information Brochure 2019. ‘The Clause 6.2.3(a) of the above said KEAM 2019 Prospectus is as follows: "6.2.3 Architecture course: (a) Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.: 10+2 or equivalent examination from.a recognized Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subject of examination. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination." As per the NATA -Information Brochure published on 12.02.2019 read as 2" paper above, Clause 5.1 states the revised Minimum Academic Eligibility criteria for B Arch Course 2019 as follows: “Clause 5.1 Taking NATA - 2019 : Candidates may come from the following backgrounds: (a) No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Matheniatics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10-+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; (those appearing the 10+2 exam 3273378/2019/H EDN with PCM subjects in the current year may also provisionally appear in the exam, however, their result in NATA-2019 will be declared valid subject to fulfilling the above criteria). Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to amend the Clause 6.2.3(a) of the KEAM 2019 Prospectus as detailed below: Clause6.2.3(a): Architecture course: (@) No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least, 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate " Government Order read above stands modified to the above extent.
