OBSERVATION

In this experiment we have added a computers to an existing network, we configured it

to the branch office network that uses DHCP for dynamic addressing of all PC. after reviewing
the topology of the network we connected the PCs to a branch switch using straight through
cables. then after configuring the DHCP on the PCs we have observe the IP configuration info
assigned to each PC using the command prompt and entering the command ipconfig/all then
we ping each PCs to verify the connectivity of the network.

CONCLUSION

After the given time to perform this experiment, I was able to configure the computers to
use DHCP for the dynamic addressing of all PC, then I was able to configure static addressing
as well, also I was able to use the command ipconfig/all to retrieve host IP information then
verify the connectivity of each pc and switches in the network by pinging each other.
Unfortunately the given time to perform this experiment is not enough to complete the
experiment because there are some issues with the connectivity of other networks and with
insufficient time, the other objectives of the experiment were not met.
