HOW TO MAKE SALTED EGGS

Hi everyone!
I'm going to show you how to make
salted eggs. It's a popular Filipino food
that's added to salads and baked
delicacies.
To start with, we'll need the following
ingredients:

- 1 dozen eggs (chicken or duck)


- 5 cups of water, and
- 1½ cups of sea salt
So the first thing we're going to do is to
put the water in a pot over medium heat
and wait until it's boiling.

Then, mix the salt in and stir


continuously until it completely
dissolves. This becomes our brine
solution.
Remove the pot and wait for it to fully
cool down.

Next, put the eggs in a jar or a deep


container. Pour the brine solution in the
container and make sure that the eggs
are fully submerged.
Then we cover it up and keep it in a
cool, dry place for about 18 to 21 days.
