I would like to draw attention from everyone who is now reading this proposal,
undeniably with my crucial intention of defining my personal desired life as a prestigious
engineer and also dream job as a futuristic physics mathematician. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am
here obliged to gain professional goals: to further long-term studies and researches for
development in Malaysia, to realize and perpetuate my career in field of mathematics and
physics, to enhance and mould well rounded youngsters, who are really enthusiastic in
engineering field. With all of these rationalities mentioned above, I have made for myself a
decision, to pursue my passion by having full commitment in advanced physics mathematics
sector, once I have completed my Master studies in Germany. In my future I will continue my
studies by resorting to construction engineering field in Master’s programme as being a civil
engineer is considered the most suitable alternative route in all various careers focusing on
engineering. This field is also correlated and hence advantageous to my planned sectors in
Master studies.
Mathematics is indeed an essential component throughout my entire life, it is dubbed a
universal language to mankind. Being a full time physics mathematician, I will be always
devoted to conduct my tasks to create a more innovative Technology in Malaysia. It could be
a blessing to all of us, if a more precise, sophisticated and humane scientific calculation method
is synthesized apart from use of calculator, in order to provide a more comprehensive
visualisation of graphs and more creative solutions for almost every mathematical question.
Digitalized Technology should also be expected to help researchers make more sensible and
reasonable predictions of certain trends of development in Malaysia, say annual rate of
population and average propagation in rainforest areas. Inevitably mathematics is a huge
contribution which leads to existence of geometrical constructions. Via gradual evolution all
engineers are more privileged as they can construct numerous safer and well preserved
buildings. Everyone should be aware of frequent and unpredictable terrorists’ attacks from al-
Qaeda, which have eventually ruined the pristine buildings in targeted countries. With my
possessed knowledge, I could have improved maximum protection of national assets and
complete restoration of demolished culturally significant textures in Malaysia, which have
great potential to play roles as predominant attractions in Malaysian tourism.
Beginning from year 2015 until 2018, I have finished my studies via Ordinary Level
and Advanced Level endorsed by Cambridge International Examinations board. In 2016 I have
firstly gone through national exam in Malaysia “Sijil Pembelajaran Malaysia” (SPM), then
completed Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and A-level examinations in 2018. I acquired too
progressively more important knowledge throughout these years and found that Physics and
Mathematics are favourably vital for further studies in Engineering. In the past few years
(2015-2017) I have been intensely exposed to worldwide TIMSS and PISA international
examinations, also participated in Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) and Olympiad
Mathematics Competition (OMK). Through these paper-based assessments I have become
more confident, responsive, meticulous and critical when making further deductions and
assumptions in mathematical analysis. To ensure myself equipped with essential practical skills,
I took part with some classmates in International Petroscience Competition in Malaysia and
that benefited me with not only determination as an indispensable quality of a physic
mathematician, but also mutual cooperation with one another.
In my humble opinion, I have too particular personalities which allow me to stand for
the opportunity of this career pursued in my life. I would value myself truthfully as a criticizer.
Albeit it can be one of the commonest Taboo in some parts of Asian countries, yet it is still my
responsibility to uncover truth about everyone’s woes instead of simply being deceitful to them.
In terms of perspective from others I am also regarded as a capable and inspirational mentor.
Most of my classmates must deal with tonnes of unsolved mathematical problems and are
unclear about ideas conveyed in recently learned theorems. As the concerned one I usually lend
them my hand, with my best effort discuss over any difficulties and guide them with more
effective and safer methods in performing calculations. Due to such ability I am also promoted
as one of the most pleasing and appreciated leader in Mentor with Peers Programme in my
school. Therefore undoubtedly I can qualify myself as person with true leadership. Curiosity
could be the most convincing reason of why I am quite different from others. I may have named
myself as a “Socratic” person, who intends to deeply rethink about general mathematical
theorems, which are mostly beyond the boundaries of Textbook-based syllabus. This quality
corresponds to a famous Mathematician Sir Ramanujan whom I mesmerize due to his talent in
debunking theories without proof in Ramanujan’s Notebooks.
Germany is namely the most welcoming home to more than 65 million scholars and
international students who are potential to be engineers. Analysis from Stude.EU shows that
under 100 students about 82 of them favour future studies in Germany, compared to any other
countries such as United Kingdom (76), France (69) and Russia (63). Apart from that people
from all over the world are also strongly affected by German culture which has been
indoctrinated by every German, who is known for their self-dependence, discipline, being
systematic and trustworthy and supportiveness for humans’ rights, which can be obviously in
reference to Basic Law for the Federal Republic in Germany. Every person in Germany has
rights to have free of charge education system with guaranteed high quality, which is an
encouragement for international exchange students to become future generations who can work
with all local nations to involve in Research and Development in Germany. The educational
institutions range from traditional University, technical University, Hochschule to
Fachhochschule. That is why the educational system is life-lasting that every student can have
proper graduation via different pathways of education. Students can also choose suitable majors
of studies which are needed for examinations and their wanted professions. This is utterly an
opposite case in Malaysia, where every student is forced to sit examinations for other extra
subjects which are not pertinent for their future studies. A very satisfying aspect in education
system in Germany is that, unlike in Malaysia, students are free to utilize unlimited capacity of
facilities in classes when they carry out presentations and other indoor projects. Each class
usually consists of no more than 15 students, yet everyone is given equal personal attentions
by respective lecturers, which is still not fully a reality in Malaysian tertiary educational system.
Jacobs University Bremen is exemplified as one of the top-rated universities in Germany which
is well-known for multilingual teaching style and ideal classrooms as expected in German
education system.
Germany is not only a country which excels in education system, but also one of the
most competent countries in political, economic and social aspects. Germany was the largest
net contributor to the European Union (EU) in 2017, as the Federal Republic of Germany paid
more than 13 billion euros to EU for fund raising. Besides, it also dominates the role in current
crisis of incoming refugees in European countries. The contemporary Federal Chancellor of
Germany Angela Merkel holds her full obligation for minimizing the overpopulation of
refugees, at the same time preserving all citizens’ and non-citizens’ status quo and safety in
Germany, so that every homeless person is given chance to be permanent residents and obtain
any job positions in Germany. Although nations receive more banes and burdens due to chaotic
and deadly catastrophes between asylum seekers and national workers, the chancellor
reluctantly perceive it as a phenomenon on account of intensifying misunderstanding between
both parties which evoke larger political generation gap. With enforcement of immigration law
and curb of illegal asylum seekers she succeeded to retain democracy and social harmony in
Germany. Economic growth in Germany is considered as the greatest achievement strived by
Germans. Compared to my homeland, people living in urbanised or rural area of Germany can
invest much more their own income to own a successful business regardless of any field of
economy. This is because most of them are financially supported by strong governments or any
private agencies. This is also less likely to become true in Malaysia. Germany is nominated for
its hegemony in eradicating environmental pollution and climatic changes. In rural area green
technology and conservation of organic resources are the hottest trends in agriculture, while
almost every company situated in town enacts and tolerates with recycling digitalized products
and controlled use of robots. It is proudly Germans’ initiative to show concern towards
environmental awareness through practice in working area, which is in fact rarely observed in
Malaysia.
In future I would like to pay visits in Goethe-Institut Germany, not primarily because
of searching for better language courses to improve my German linguistic skills, but because
of my will to indulge more frequently in German and European culture, which has been long
time an interest to me since I was a teenager. I would also be delighted if I enrich my experience
by befriending with Germans, Frenchmen, Russians, Spaniards and any other Europeans. Plus
I really admire and appreciate German cultural heritage, especially in European historical
music (to be specific, Baroque and Romantic Period). It would be my most unforgettable
memory in my life, if I were fortunately invited to attend classical concerts organized by
Goethe-Institut Germany.
