INTRODUCTION
In this globalization era, English Study Program students can afford as many knowledge as
possible from virtual world depends on their needs to support their study. But, it is not enough.
Considering the rapid development of science, technology, and art in the era of globalization,
English Study Program / English Teaching Learning provides the students with real activities
and experiences. Not only for applying, testing or exercising their knowledge, but also exploring
the real workplace and situation. Also to find out where or how to use their knowledge acquired
in the classroom to support the future by communicate with the native speakers or non-native
speakers who use English. Entrepreneurship is one of the programs that is already set up in
curriculum of English Education Study Program which has two credits.
This year’s Entrepreneurship was held in Bali from February 21 to February 25 2019. Bali is
the chosen destination for this year’s Entrepreneurship. It is not without reasonings. On the other
hand, there is a lot of consideration before finally we chose to go to Bali. Bali is well-known as
one of the most beautiful place in Indonesia and even in this world. This beautifulness obviously
related with its tourism mostly. The countless ethereal beaches,
In the end, this all comes in a form as tourism. When we talk about tourism, we also would
absolutely talk about tourist. Whether domestic or international tourist. Based on this
explanation, the writer try to point out the reasons why Bali is the chosen one. First Bali provides
us with real example of one of the most promising business or job field we could ever know, and
that is tourism. Ecotourism is a new trend nowadays, and as a soon to be an English graduate, we
need to open our eyes and see how this tourism works in real life as an addition to our English
knowledge and skill. Even though the trip was just for five days, but this trip gave us a really
good knowledge and experiences of ecotourism because we went to the right place. Bali has all
those tourist that we need to practice our English skill in real life with. Bali provides us with tour
guides that we need to interview, because yes they make money from their job, and their job
needs them to use English often. The last one, Bali is full with local sellers that run their business
with English as one of the biggest support. In summary, Bali is the perfect place for this course.
Through this program, the students are expected to improve and integrate English language
skills, also realize how English can be useful not only as an information but also as business
tools.

2.1 Observation Results
2.1.1 Workshop at IALF
On the first day in Bali, the participants visited IALF. IALF (Indonesia Australia
Language Foundation) is Indonesia’s premier institution for English and Indonesian language
training, IELTS testing and preparation, and teacher training for teachers of English. It is a
non-profit organization, committed to providing high quality language training services
throughout Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region. IALF has three training centres, in Jakarta,
Surabaya and Bali, all with excellent resources and facilities to support language learning.
IALF offers a wide range of English language programs to meet the needs of Indonesians:
English for Academic Purposes for those who wish to study overseas; specialised language
training for business and the workplace; and, at IALF Bali, General English for all ages.
IALF Bali is a teacher training centre, conducting the internationally accredited Trinity
College London Certificate in TESOL, as well as a range of IALF certificated training
courses for teachers of English and teachers of other subjects using the medium of English.
The participants got a great opportunity to join a Teacher Training Workshop at IALF. The
workshop was really fun and interactive based on the writer personal opinion. The topic of
the workshop is Teaching Communicative Grammar. The trainer is the manager of Teacher
Training Services, Mr. David Bradbury. He informed the participants from the very
beginning such as what is grammar and how familiar the participants with it before he taught
the participants about how to teach grammar in communicative ways. From the workshop,
the participants got to know many activities to teach grammar in communicative ways such
as playing chain of sentences and running dictation. It was a really great workshop because in
the future, as teachers, the participants need to help their students to learn to communicate.
They need to learn more than just the names of tenses and the rules for forming them.
