This is the first time I write a paragraph in PEEC format which is something really new

to me. At first, I didn't know how to come up with the topic sentence and I was pretty struggling

but the diagram of PEEC paragraph has helped me a lot in determining what a proper PEEC

paragraph be like. Additionally, I started clarifying the idea of PEEC format clearer when Mr.

Shields gave us an example of a good PEEC paragraph. I thinked following the format of that

paragraph is a good way to write my paragraph because each of the sentence of sample is clearly

connected and support the topic sentence, and that is all I need for this project.

I have approximately 2 weeks to finish this project includes researching and writing

process. The process that takes me tons of times is researching. It is hard to find a reliable

evidence that supports my idea, this makes sense because we have about a week just to only for

researching. Luckily, Mr. Shields also gave us some good websites to research such as

Britannica school. Moreover, I am usually known for an unorganized student, I don't have a plan

or any schedules for my project and my paragraph was uncompleted or not good enough

(because I would be in rush) if Mr. Shields didn't pass the steps for me to follow. This is actually

a good method to be a well - organized student because having a plan will help student to keep

track on their project and turn their work on time.

In the future, I will definitely have some similar projects in high school so start

practicing writing tasks will help me to improve my language skills. Through every project, I

will know where my mistakes are so I won't make the same ones again. During this project, I
also learn how to research efficiently and select reliable information in thousand of websites.

This is also called a skill because not everyone knows how to pick the right information in their

paragraph and it take practices to be better at choosing information. Not only writing tasks help

me in high school but also the method using a timeline or calendar. An old method but always

works, some students are bad at time management and usually wait until the last minute (like

me) and a timeline will be a reminder for them to speed up and finish their work. The last

method I think it works efficiently is the rubric, Mr. Shields handed it out right before the due

date as the last chance for us to fix our grammar or some basic language rules. Without the

rubric, I think most of us will not get full points for “mechanic” part.
