PRESENTED BY: YOUR NAME
Introduction
The Introduction should briefly outline following:
 Brief outline of your proposed work with brief profile of the company (if your
research is being conducted using any specific company data or any company’s
aspect).
 Brief outline of your proposed model, research methodology, materials and methods
to be used in you research work. Provide a brief description of the data (if any), its
source and reliability. If primary data is used then its reliability, research instrument
and sampling technique applied in data collection.
Introduction
 Previous work done in the same field as yours. Brief overview of the articles you
have reviewed to have a clear idea on what exactly is the state of the art in the field
you have chosen. This is important because its not only you who has chosen the
specific field but some one(s) may have done the same work from a different aspect
or different company/country or different time period using different method etc.
 Expected outcome of your work
Statement of the Problem
 This part provides discussion on the need of the work you are doing. In addition, this part
helps the readers/audience of your work to know what gap your work is going to fill in the
existing body of knowledge.
Research Question(s)

 This part of your research work is the most crucial part. Here
you have to provide the key question (s) that you are going to
answer in the conclusion of your thesis. Each question you are
presenting here would be subject to a specific scientific answer
supported by the results at the end of the study.
OBJECTIVE(s) OF THE STUDY

 Here you are supposed to provide the primary and secondary objectives of
your thesis. The objectives provided here are the smaller milestones that
you have to cover to reach the major conclusion according to your research
questions. The objectives can be several as required by your demonstrated
research question(s).
Scope and Significance

 This part would signify your study and highlight the importance of the
study from theoretical, applied, business/corporate and industry
perspectives. The scope should be defined according to the initially
emerged idea on the “need of the research” in your specific field.
REVIEW OF LITERATURE

 This part presents key studies reviewed during the research work. This part does
not only provides the opinion, results and methods used in other relevant studies
but also includes a summary of the reviewed literature based on the opinion
developed after the review of the literature.
 This part should be written carefully so that the reader(s) and audience of your
work may be able to identify your contribution in the existing body of knowledge.
Research Methodology

► Research Design.
► Respondents of the study. (For Primary data based Research)
► Research instruments (For Primary data based Research)
► Reliability and Validity of Research Instruments (For Primary data based
Research)
► Data Collection Procedure (For Primary data based Research)
► Statistical tool analysis. (For Quantitative/Qualitative Research)
Expected Outcome

► This part discusses the outcome from your work as anticipated (No problem if it
is not same as the final outcome). If it differs from what you may have in your
final defense, you would need to justify the deviated results scientifically.
Anticipated Limitations of the study

This part presents/anticipates some of the challenges that may not be overcome due to
some inherent limitations. These limitations may be pertaining to the availability of
data/literature, financial costs or any other limitations of qualitative nature.
