A. SCHEDULE OF RATES (SOR) for Civil & Structural works pertaining to SHELL PFI jobs at CDU-II & HCU-I units at
MRPL Plant
Providing and laying at all heights and depths Non shrink flow
cementicious grout it shall be 25mm thick with minimum
compressive strength of 30N/mm2 at 7 days and 40 N/mm2 at
14 C110 28days as per manufacturers recommendations, in all anchor cu.m 2.2
bolt sleeve/pockets under all column baseplates , below static

Providing and applying two coat of coal tar epoxy paint to ye all
below concrete surfaces in contact with soil of approved make
and shade including staging, scaffolding etc. complete as per
manufacturers specification, the painting material shall conform

Note:
1. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of all supplies, Labour, materials, required PPE’S for the deployed personnel, consumables,
overheads and all other costs, charges, expenses including all applicable taxes/ duties, excluding GST.
2. GST shall be extra at actuals to MRPL A/c.
3. Quantities shown in SOR are indicative only. No minimum Quantity/Value is guaranteed. However Payment shall be released
based on the actual Quantity executed by the contractor.
4. Rates shall be firm and fixed till execution of the contract.
5. MRPL may call for detailed breakup of the quotes, if required later.
6. All expenditure related to the scope of work to be included in the quote.
7. Bidder shall quote the Service Tariff Code (STC) for each of the items.
8. Un-priced ‘Priced bid format’ copy indicating quoted items shall be submitted along with Technical bid.
h) Hydrotesting, Draining, Flushing, Drying, cleaning by compressed air , Card Board Blasting, as
applicable, reinstallation of control valves, safety valves, final box up of the piping system &
making the system ready for pre commissioning.
k) Preparation of final marked up drawings (As Built Drawings).

6 Aboveground GI Piping
Laying of galvanised pipes confirming to IS 1239 & fittings confirming to IS 1239 (Galavnised) including supply of
Teflon tapes, White lead etc. cutting the pipes to required length, making threads, as speefied / Instructed by
Engineer-in-Charge. Installation of all in line fittings/ flanges/spray nozzles/ rupture disc etc as applicable, draining
& flushing and drying by air, including hook up of new lines with existing lines, modifications/ rerouting of existing
lines if required etc. complete as per Drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and other
related scope.
Rates to include the followings
a) All required consumables and labour, etc.
b) All work as specified in this document and relevant piping specifications as applicable.
c) Work at all elevations including scaffolding, as required
d) Dismantling of Special Material & instruments before hydrotest & reinstallment of the same
e) Preparation of temporary arrangements/connections required for water flushing.

7 Steam Tracing
Collection and transportation of all materials from OWNER's storage point to work site, cutting, bevelling, grinding,
fabrication, erection of steam tracers, cold bending, providing expansion loops at pipe fittings/valves/change in
directions/flanges (CONTRACTOR to ensure that the loops/bends are not flattened). Supplying, providing,
fastening of SS 304 wire of 18 SWG, fastening of tracers at every 1 mtr. interval including providing and
application of heat resistence cement, Supporting of all tracers (supply and return), etc., Pressure testing of steam
tracers, Insertion of Gaskets, Connecting the tracer systems with Manifold lines, equipment's and instruments etc.
as specified in technical specifications and drawings included in the bidding document and as per instruction's of
Engineer-in-Charge.
11.3 Pad supports for uninsulated pipes fabricated using pipes (Free issue materials). Quoted rates to include
collection of material from OWNER's storage point. MT 1
12.2 Erection of fabricated pipe supports (made using pipes) for trunion supports. MT 1
12.3 Erection and welding of Pad supports (fabricated using pipes) for uninsulated pipes . MT 1
13 Erection of Spring Supports
Installation of Spring Supports/ Hanger Assembley by bolting & fixing/welding, including erection at all elevations,
locking/isolation of all the springs before hydrotesting, unlocking of spring supports during commissioning and
completion the works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. MT

14 Surface Preparation & Primer
Surface Preparation of fabricated pipe supports and spring supports by Blast Cleaning (grit/ shot blasting) to
SSPC-SP-6 as per MRPL painting spercification (00-ES-100-005, Rev 7, 12 sheets) & applying Primer, P-2, One
coat of epoxy mastic, 100 microns dft of approved make as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-
Charge.

17 Liquid Penetrant Inspection/Dye Penetrant Inspection
Conducting liquid penetrant test of piping weld joints over and above the 10% LPT of total welding joints by each
welder included in the scope of works for Piping, including supply of consumables, labour and supervision as per
specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Rates to include the followings
a) All required consumables and labour, etc.
b) Work at all elevations.
c) Repeat inspection test due to Contractor’s fault such as weld joints requiring repair etc.

19 Stress Relieving
Carrying out stress relieving of weld joints on all type of pipings as called for on shop / site fabricated system

work in all respect as per instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Repet performance due to defective stress reliving or

20 Modification Works
Cutting, bevelling, fitup, welding of different sizes of CS(IBR/NON IBR)/AS /SS piping of all types and thicknessess

from owner's storage point to work site/ work shop,
making necessary scaffoldings, consumables, machinery, tools, tackles, labour and supervision including

21 Erection of Static Equipment
Transportation of Static Equipments (columns, vessels, tanks, filters, drums, etc.) from OWNER's storage point to
work site, unloading of equipments from trailers, as applicable, necessary alignment in ground as required for
erection of the equipment, assembly of parts, subassemblies, erection at all elevations, aligning, verticality
checking, grouting, tightening of foundation bolts, welding of washer on anchor chairs,erection of wooden pillow for
cold vessels, installation of mixer/agitator, internal cleaning and flushing by water, draining, drying by compressed
air, inertising the equipment with related piping including preparation for startup, providing all tools, tackles,
machinery, consumables, transportation equipment, erection equipment, instruments, labour, ancilliary, etc. to
complete the work in all respects as per drawings, equipment detail, specifications and instructions of the
Engineer-in-Charge.

26 Painting of Equipments
Providing and supplying all required materials supported with necessary test certificates, carrying out hand tool
cleaning to SSPC-SP-2 and painting of equipments as per MRPL Painting specification (00-ES-100-005, Rev 7, 12
sheets) including supply of all consumables, tools, tackles, and providing covered shed etc. Completing the work
in all respect as per specifications, drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

alloy analysers, stacking of servicable/unservicable materials and disposal of the unservicable material including
return of all unused / scarp pipes to OWNER's storage point, completing all such works in all respects as per the
specifications, drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Rates to include the followings:
a) All required consumables and labour, etc.
b) All work as specified in this document and relevant piping specifications as applicable.
c) Work at all elevations including scaffolding, as required

e) Fabrication & installation of Reinforcement pads as per branch table included in enquiry.
f) Preparation of temporary arrangements/connections required for water flushing.

applicable, reinstallation of control valves, safety valves, final box up of the piping system,
preparation of flange history sheet, depressurising the system, inertising the system by inert
gas if required & making the system ready for pre commissioning.
h) Positive Material Identification (PMI) of all pieces of pipes, all weld joints and all the fittings with
recorder.
j) Preparation of final marked up drawings (As Built Drawings).
