Pakistan’s judicial history, the
Supreme Court used e-Court sys-
tem on Monday as lawyers pre-
sented their arguments from the
SC’s Karachi Registry. The hear-
ing – conducted through e-Court
system – was presided over by
Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
The CJP remarked that the new
system is a big step in the field of
technology which will provide im-
mediate justice to the people at

This importance of justice in the
state and society is also acknowl-
edged everywhere but in our coun-
try we are far away from the des-
tination where justice is in every
citizen’s access, its attainment is
easy and its known foe trustwor-
thy decisions. It is said that the
justice delayed is justice denied.
But the biggest complaint against
our judicial system is delay in de-
cisions of cases. According to the
earlier estimates, a trial decision
takes an average of 15 to 20 years.
We have more than 1.8 million
cases pending in our courts. We

take effective measures by legis-

Accountability  Court  (AC)
Monday  sent  accused  Dr.

mand in mega money launder-

Accountability Bureau (NAB)
produced  the  accused  before
AC-I  Judge Muhammad
Bashir after ending of Dinsha’s
physical remand time.
NAB prosecutor  re-
quested the court to grant fur-
ther  physical  remand  of  the
accused  person  and  pleaded
that the bureau wanted to col-
lect  more  information  from

jected the request of NAB and
sent the accused to jail on judi-

tional Institute of Folk and Tra-
ditional  Heritage (Lok  Virsa)
will be holding a 30 days sum-
mer camp for children during
summer vacation from June 25
to  create  awareness  among
children about the indigenous
craft heritage of  Pakistan.
The camp will be aiming
to provide basic orientation to
children (age  5-14) about  tra-
ditional skills in an entertaining
and  interactive  manner  under
the supervision of master arti-

Monday  reserved  its  judg-
ment  on  maintainability  of a
petition  seeking  security  of
two Hindu girls of Sindh who
recently  converted  to  Islam
and married Muslim boys.

perts Monday raised concerns
over prevailing sanitation sys-
tem and  garbage  disposal
methods in the federal capital.
