Activities during the day:

We had an orientation on things that we are going to work under 240 hours. Then the
supervisor introduced the engineers on us which they are assigned for our assistant and
mentor. We had discussed the SALINTUBIG programs were some of students on University
of Mindanao is involved then ask for the progress of the project. In our project were almost
half done which is in Brgy. Tuganay, Carmen, Davao del Norte. After all the talking the
engineers told us to continue our project until that we will be given another project. After that
I have been working our layout on EPANET, record the elevation of nodes and calculate the
distance between nodes.

Learnings:

As on our observation we learn the operation of working office of an Engineer. The

environment of an office is such a good experience in our OJT. The people in the office are
so approachable and joyful. They are seemed not too busy but their work is not easy. The
supervisor as the head of the office is so generous and has an excellent leadership skill. There
is no pressure on what we are working just because the workplace we are working is very
kind and cheerful.
