Activities during the day:

We continue on working the EPANET for the analysis. After we are finished, we by the
engineers and critique our work. The result on the analysis may not be satisfied with
the standards then we make some changes in layout and sizes of pipes. At the same time I am
working with the formats of the Program of Works which we will be presenting to the LGU.
Engineer who is assigned for us is always there for us to ask question even it is a small thing
to be asked we asked it without hesitation.

Learnings:

On their assistance, we learn the different techniques on how to design a water distribution
system. I have learn the most important things to consider in designing a water distribution
system. Also I’ve learn different standard measure of flow and pressure on different region of
a transmission and distribution pipeline. I also learned the estimation technique in calculating
number of households to be served by a single tap stand.
