The hood takes air through prefilter which holds larger particles. Ventilator direct air toward
HEPA absolute filter. Due to the special air distribution system, air flows laminar into the work
space, where it provides air cleanliness of a high degree.

Ventilator directs air flow toward HEPA filter. Filtrated air laminar flows into the workspace. One
part of air, 25-30%, goes out, into environment, toward operator, though second part of air, 70-
75%, circulate back through work plate to HEPA filter. Exhaust air flow is substituted with a new
one, which enters the system through prefilter.

CABINS
Over 20 years of engineering and manufacturing experience and latest-

generation CNC equipment provide standardized quality you can count on.
KLIMAOPREMA is able to fabricate cabins in desired various sizes and

required cleanliness classes.
Cabins are designed according to FDA cGMP. The support frame is fabricated of square
stainless steel uprights and cross sections. Complete cleanroom consists of a number
interlocked independent frames. Filter modules are designed in a way that they are easily
mountable in the support frames. Standard height is 250 cm, measuring from the perforated
face to floor ( 310 cm overall ).

Biological safety cabinet recirculates 70% of the contaminated air through one HEPA filter and
exhaust remaining 30% of air flow through other HEPA filter.
Incoming air laminar flows into the work space with 0.45 m/s air velocity, providing absolutely
clear work zone. CCA 30% of air exhaust out through outgoing HEPA filter, though remaining
70% continue to circulate.
This air flow performance makes the system suitable for Biosafety level 1, 2 or 3 containment.
