As a matter of fact, you can major in any field as long
as you complete the required courses which include
General Biology, Advanced Biological Sciences,
Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry,
General Physics, English, and Math-Base Statistics.
After you have a minimum of 4 years in classes, you
will have to have an additional 3-7 years of training at
medical school before you can become a doctor.

Top 10%: If you are the top 10% in your graduating


class then you will be automatically accepted into any
college in Texas, including Texas A&M.

Academic Admits: This means that if you rank in the


top 25% of your graduating class and score high
enough on your SAT’s, then you will also be
automatically accepted into A&M as well.

Review Admits: If you do not qualify for either of those,


but you qualify under the State of Texas Uniform
Admission Policy, then you don’t have a guaranteed
spot, but your application will be viewed.
