How Why Don’t We
Started
On September 27th, 2016 the band
Why Don’t We was officially started their
band. Jonah Marais tells Tiger Beat “We
were friends before the group. At one
point, a couple of years ago, we all had a
week off, and we just to hang out. At the
time we were just planning to grow each
other’s followings and maybe jam out a
little bit but it wasn’t to make a band. We
played more FIFA than singing, but when
we did sing together it was like, ‘okay,
there’s something here.’”. Before the
boys started the band they were all solo
artists. When they thought there was
something there when they started singing
they were right there was!
 About Why Don’t We
There is five boys in Why Don’t We and their names are Corbyn, Daniel, Jack,
Jonah, and Zach. The paragraphs below are about all 5 of the boys in Why Don’t We.
Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich, the oldest in the band at twenty and three quarters
years old, is from Stillwater, Minnesota. He has three siblings, Esther, Svea, and
Zebulon. Jonah started his fame by doing videos on YouNow, going to social media
events, and being in his school choir.
Corbyn Matthew Besson, the second oldest in the group at 20, quickly grew love
for music when he got his first guitar when he was twelve years old. Corbyn has 2
siblings, Ashley and Jordan, and was born in Texas but was raised in Virginia. Corbyn
also has a single on Itunes called “The Only One” and is also really big on YouNow.
Daniel James Seavey, third oldest in the group, just turned 20 years old on April
2nd. Daniel knows how to play 9 different instruments and was on the 14th season of
American Idol when he was 15. Before Why Don’t We Daniel also was a street
performer. Daniel has 3 siblings, Anna, Tyler, and Christian, and is from Vancouver,
Washington.
Jack Robert Avery, the fourth oldest in the group at 19, use to be really into
basketball before he took music seriously. He has 3 sisters, Ava, Sydnie, and Isla, and
has a daughter that is only 1 month old named Lavender. Jack was born in Burbank,
California but was raised in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Before he joined Why Don’t
We he made covers of songs on youtube. Jack was also in a short film called “Fearless
Five” with Alex Lee.
Zachary Dean Herron, the youngest in the group at 17, has 2 siblings named
Reese and Ryan. Zach used to be part of his school choir and used to be in the talent
shows before he dropped out of high school to take his band more seriously. Before
Zach started Why Don't We he released a solo single called “Timelapse” in 2016. If
the band wasn’t successful or they don't make the band he was going to be a firefighter.
 Fun Facts About Why Don’t We
The list below is a bunch of interesting and fun facts about Why Don’t We.
1. The bands fans are called Limelights. This name was made by the fans
based on their first song’s first line “I need you in my life like a Limelight”.
2. They all want to get matching tattoos that represent ⅕ , for ⅕ of the band.
3. After joining the band Jack made one of his sisters dreams come true and
took her to Disney World.
4. Daniel made it to 10th place on American Idol but was sadly disqualified
on his birthday, April 2nd.
5. One of all the boys inspirations is Ed Sheeran. The boys got Ed to write
the song “Trust Fund Baby” for them.
6. Jack's celebrity crush is Selena Gomez.
7. Corbyn’s girlfriend is youtuber Christina Marie.
8. Corbyn is not actually a blonde.
9. Jacks hair isn't naturally curly he gets a perm done.
10. Zach has an extensive bandana collection.
11. Jack plays the most sports out of all the boys.
12. Jonah's go to Starbucks order is a Venti caramel latte.
13. Jonah can knit and crochet.
14. Corbyn’s guilty TV pleasure is Stranger Things.
15. Jack's favorite emoji is the crying laughing emoji.
16. Zach likes instagram more than twitter.
17. Jonah released a solo album called When the Daylight’s Gone when he
started getting a following.
18. Corbyn, Zach, and Jack were all touring together on the “Impact” tour
before the band.
19. Zach’s celebrity crush is Ariana Grande.
20. All the boys were solo artist before they came together to form the band.
21. The boys are friends with famous youtubers Jake and Logan Paul.
22. Logan filmed 3 of the boys music videos and Why Don’t We was featured
in 2 of Logan's songs.
23. Jack is the only boy in the group to have a kid.
 On Mother's Day Jack Avery made an
announcement on Instagram that him and
his girl friend, Gabriela Gonzalez, had a
little girl on April 22nd. None of the fans
were knew or expected Jack to have a kid
at his young age of 19. When Avery posted
the post on Instagram on mothers day all
of the fans were very confused because
Jack Avery Jack and Gabby kept her a secret for more
than 10 months. On April 22nd Jack and

Corbyn Besson Risky
Surgery
Last year Corbyn Besson had to
have surgery. He had to have surgery
in his throat because he had an
infection that was blocking his airway.
He Tweeted “Getting a spontaneous
surgery tonight, i have a huge swollen
infection in my throat that’s covering a
my airway making it tough to breathe.”
The surgery he got could have been
very damaging to his vocal cords and
that would have ended his career. All
of the fans were very worried ad all the
boys posted sweet tweets wishing him
to get better and promising to see him.

I believe one of my best friends,

Shayne Rae Stone, is one of the biggest
Why Don’t We fans. In an interview she
said, “Daniel is my favorite because he
sings amazing, he's really cute, hes nice,
and I love his eyes. I just love him.” When
asked whos her favorite Why Don’t We
member and why their her favorite. When
asked what's her favorite song she replied
“I have two “Free” and, there newest song,
“I Don't Belong in This Club”. When asked
what would you do if you meant the boys
she replied with “I don't know I would
probably freak the frick out and most likely
pass out, I love the boys so much that I
would probably die”. When asked which
one of the boys siblings is your favorite she
replied, “My favorite is probably Daniels
sister Anna or Jacks sister Isla and maybe
Esther, Jonah's sister.” As you can see by
her responses that is why I think she is one
of the biggest Why Don’t We fans ever.

 Is Why Don’t We
a Good Band?
In my opinion Why Don’t We is a good
band in fact Why Don’t We is my favorite
band. I think Why Don’t We is a good band
because all of them have really good
voices, they're super nice to all their
fans,and there themselves during
interviews. Another reason Why Don’t We
is a good band is they all can do more than
just sing. For example Daniel can play

There are quite a few ways you can save money
on tickets.
Have you ever been to a concert there really expensive. There are a
few ways that you could save money. The first thing you could do is buy
tickets at the last minute. Some places reduce the ticket price if not as many
seats sold out as they were thinking. Sometimes tickets will be cheaper if you
buy them at the door. You can find out when concerts are by social media
and get notified, Another thing you could do is buy tickets for the back row
then use the camera on your phone to zoom in on the stage. Another way is
to buy the tickets through a social media platform like like craigslist, or on a
website they resell tickets like StubHub and Ebay. Another way is if you go to
a different town the tickets might be cheaper depending on the town My last
way to save is to get deals on tickets like if there's a sale for 5 tickets for a
cheaper price then to buy them individually.

Why Don’t We is as popular as I think. 113
people answered the poll. According to
the poll 57% of the 113 who voted know
who Why Don’t We is. This means 43%
of the 113 people don’t know who Why
Don’t We is. So to answer the question “is
Why Don’t We popular?” the answer is not
really because only a little over half says
they know Why Don’t We. I asked the
question, Do you know who Why Don’t
We is, because I wanted to know if Why 43% of the 113
Don’t We is as popular as I thought and
there not.
