ARRANQUE COMPRESOR DE AIRE TC-3.

CHECK-LIST

1.- Checking of cooling water system


2.- Checking of instrument air suppy ( 1.4 barg to FY-01 and PY-02 ; and 3.5 to 4.0
barg to blow-off valve positioner) ,
3.- Cliecking--at control panel display, if all signals are O.K
4.- Checking MCC( motor capinet), if it is ready to start
5.- Check, at control panel display, if controller l and controller 2 are in auto
mode (up-right)

START-UP CONDITIONS

1.- Inlet guide vane (IGV) in minimum position (4 ma= 80°)


2.- Blow-off valve in open position ( 4 ma = open )
3.- Oil temperature ( VIA TT-84) above than 20°C
4.- Oil tank level, VIA LSL-82, is in minimun indication at level gauge

PROCEDURE OF START I STOP

1.- After verify the "check-list" and check the "start-up conditions" control, panel •
display must shows only" PALL-85 LUBE OIL", "PAL-86 LUBE OIL", "HL-211
BACKUPSYSTEM" as alarms

2.- Manual mode-start:


Type "equipment"- "LMO" ,.
Switch-on auxiliary lube oil pump
Switch-on automatic oil pump to "automatic"
Switch-on interlocking back-up to "activated"
At this time, display shows:
"ready to start"
Switch-on main motor
Approximately, one minute later, switch-off auxiliary lube oil pump

3.- Manual mode-stop:


Type "equipment"- "LMO"
Switch-off main motor
10 minute later, switch-off automatic oil pump to "manual mode"
Switch-off auxiliary lube oil pump

4.- Automatic mode-start


-Type "equipment"- "LAO"
Type "auto-start"
At this moment, DTC controller switch-on automatically all auxiliary devices I
functions and display flash "start sequence". Auxiliary lube oil pump will be
automatically switched-off when compressor reaches nominal speed ( display
shows "on speed")

5.- Automatic mode-stop


Type "equipP',ent"- "LAO"
Type "auto-stop", display flash "stop sequence". DTC controller switch-off
main motor and auxiliary devices I functions, and switch-on auxiliary lube
oil pump, 10 minutes later, auxiliary lube oil pump will be switched-off

CONTROLLERS CHARACTERISTICS

1.- Controller l anti-surge (blow-off valve)

FIC-01:
Set-point = 0
Kp = 0.055
Th= 3.6

2.- Controller 2 Performance (IGV)

PIC-02:
Set-point = 8.8 bar A
Kp = 0.030
Th= 150
