nance created by the last gov-
ernments of Pakistan Peoples

during  their  tenures  of gov-

had left 450 billion rupees in
the  shape  of  circular debt  in
the power sector while in the

these carry solution to many
problems they might face. He
said, rescheduling of loans was
a right but added it would be
extended only to those deserv-

NBP for loan disbursement to

completed in time. It was de-
cided during the meeting that
a committee would be formed
that would review and decide
if  the  proposed  projects  are
feasible  or  not  and it  would
also monitor  the  roads  in-
cluded in package.

KARACHI  (TNS): The  rate
of  dollar went  down on
Wednesday against the Paki-
stani currency as it has reached
below Rs 150 in the interbank
market.  Currently, the  dollar
has slid down by 92 paisa in
interbank market.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan
Stock  Exchange  is  also  wit-
nessing an upward trend with
an  addition of  951 points  in
100 index.
On Tuesday, the US dol-
lar increased by Rs1 in the in-
terbank  market  to trade  at
Rs150.50. In the open market,
the rupee also saw an increase
of Rs1 and was being sold at
Rs151. On  Monday, the  rate
of US  do llar went  belo w
Rs150  in  the  interbank  mar-
ket  after  touching  historical
highs last week.
