It is my privilege to recommend to you Brayden Holt for admission to your university. I am currently a
Mathematics Teacher at Heritage High School in Wake Forest, NC. I was able to teach Brayden during the fall
semester of 2017 in Honors Pre-Calculus. Even though I have only been able to teach him once, I was able to
see Brayden grow and flourish outside of the classroom through his involvement in Math Honor Society, of
which I am the adviser and as a valued member of the Varsity Football Team.

Brayden has been an invaluable asset to our community here at Heritage High School since his very first
year. During my class, Brayden worked efficiently in groups to solve real-world population growth, navigation,
projectile motion, and direct/indirect variation problems. He looked forward to the opportunity to work with his
peers to solve these types of problems, but he successful working independently as well. He worked diligently
to keep his grade high and improve his understanding of the mathematical concepts, even when the subject
matter challenged him.

Brayden has been a member of the football team, both junior varsity and varsity, while attending
Heritage High. During his time on the team, Brayden has worked tirelessly to ensure that his teammates
perform to their highest abilities. He truly puts the team’s goals before his own, and for that, he is looked upon
highly by his teammates and his coaches. As a member of Math Honor Society students are expected to
complete math tutoring hours either in school or outside of school. Brayden has embraced this opportunity and
uses the Husky Help time during the school day to help peers in earlier math classes make sense of the concepts
that they are learning. He has also been such a huge asset to some of my younger students. In addition to
teaching Honors Pre-Calculus in the spring, I also taught Intro to High School Math, a class for first-year
students. He was such a huge help to them during their Husky Help time on Tuesdays, coming in to my room
and volunteering to help some students with test corrections and review sheets.

I am exceptionally proud of the young man Brayden has become, both inside and outside the classroom.
He is of remarkable character and upholds the highest academic, ethical and personal standards. The
opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree is an incredible one for Brayden and his potential. He would be
an amazing role model to his peers and a wonderful asset to your university.
