We are delighted to inform you that the 7th South East Asia Design Research (SEA-
DR) International Conference will be held on 25-27 July 2019 in Yogyakarta,
Indonesia. The conference will have oral and poster session as its essential
programmes. Therefore, we invite you to submit abstracts for the oral/poster
presentation through the conference submission system. The deadline for the
abstract submission is 22 April 2019.

The SEA-DR International Conference is an annual conference organised by the

SEA-DR consortium which has an outstanding history in providing a forum to
discuss educational design research in South East Asia or international context. In
2019, the annual conference will be held for the seventh time and will be co-hosted
by Universitas Sanata Dharma, SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics, Universitas Negeri
Yogyakarta, and Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. With the theme "Improving
Professionalism and Reflective Thinking through Design Research," the 7th SEA-DR
International Conference aims to gather numerous educational researchers,
practitioners, educators and policymakers to reflect on the design research role in
addressing educational challenges.

The 7th SEA-DR International Conference selects five outstanding keynote speakers
based on their experience and expertise in the educational design research field.
The keynote speakers are as follows.

1. Prof. Toh Tin Lam (Associate Professor Mathematics & Mathematics

Education (MME), National Institute of Education, Singapore)
2. Dr. Wanty Widjaja (Faculty of Arts and Education, School of Education,
Deakin University, Australia)
3. Dr. M.L.A.M. (Maarten) Dolk (Freudenthal Institute for Science and
Mathematics Education, Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands)
4. Dr. Hongki Julie, M.Si. (Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,
Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta, Indonesia)
5. Prof. Dr. Masami Isoda (Department of Mathematics, University of Tsukuba,
Japan)
The 7th SEA-DR International Conference also invites leading scholars in the
educational design research to act as invited speakers as well as workshop
