GUIDELINES FOR GIVING THE RESEARCH STUDY PRESENTATION RATING

1. KNOWLEDGE ACHIEVED (20%)


- Does the researcher(s) understand the different terms he/she used?
- Does the researcher(s) shows evidence of knowing what the research study principles are?
- Has the researcher(s) learned something through his/her study and research above and beyond the level of
classroom work?
2. EFFECTIVE USE OF METHODS (20%)
- Does the researcher(s) have a clear idea of the purpose of his/her project?
- Is the researcher(s) aware of other approaches or theories related to the problem or the study?
- Has the researcher(s) observed any basic phenomena?
- Has the researcher(s) studied sufficiently to have collected and presented any idea or data?
- Has the researcher(s) analyzed his/her observations to draw valid conclusions?
- Has the researcher(s) used an adequate sample to make generalizations?
3. CLARITY OF EXPRESSION (20%)
- Can the researcher(s) explain the research study concisely and answer the questions well?
- Does the researcher(s) possess modulation of voice in expressing his/her ideas?
- Does the researcher(s) bewared of the correct usage and spelling of words?
