Bias Politics Within the Classroom

Now a days within the classrooms of the USA, we the kids are being fed bias viewpoint within

the classrooms of the modern day. I believe the system should be unbiased and fair to the future voters of

America. People in the 21st century are easily manipulated by what they hear on social media, news

sources, friends, family and others. People should learn how to learn correctly, instead of being swayed to

opposite political spectrums (Ie. Liberals and Conservatives). But, the discussion of the topics within the

liberal and conservative worlds must be addressed at school i believe, but not in every classroom as it has

been recently. It should be reserved for the classes such as the history classrooms and the political classes,

but not in classes such as english and mathematics. But, even with that restriction, teachers in the history

department can be very liberal minded and, both knowingly and unknowingly, swey the thoughts and

actions of the future generations (Ie. Millennials and Generation Z and Alpha.)

A few of the main reasons why people want politics within the classroom is because they have a

viewpoint they want to teach, which is the democratic or republican side of things. Examples of this

would be the consistent bashing of Donald Trump or Barack Obama about their candidacies and their

failures and achievements. When the main thing that should happen is a non biased debate, discussion or

tidbit of information that is neutral on both sides of the spectrum that doesn't leave the kids in the

classroom viewing one side over the other. Another issues that is presented in the classroom is adherient

manipulation within the ignorant younger generation on the topic of politics. Teachers love to say they

teach fairly and unpolitical, but on numerous occasions in mostly history classes the political spectrum

goes to the left, consistently bashing President Trump, when the bashing of a president shouldn’t be so

blunt and rash and harsh. The final sign of evidence within school is the noticeable division with students

wearing pro party outfits. The Trump party has many haters within schools, mainly with young naive

freshman and sophomores. Examples of this would be the consistent bullying of kids for wearing a

“MAGA” (Make America Great Again) hat or publically supporting Trump. And same is said about the

Midwest and the Central US about Obama and his presidency and discrimination of liberals and the left

there. Again, the topics of politics should be consistently neutral and not have any part of what the

curriculum should be apart of unless the topic is about modern history, and or, a political class.

Some people that would obviously be opposed to this idea is the Government that is being

suppressed in said areas, (Ie. Liberalism in California and Conservatism in Texas). Politicians want to be

consistently voted in by a blind, uneducated audience that can be manipulated by adults and teachers that

are preaching their side of politics. But this is not the way how politics in this nation should work. People

are brought up in the most free country in the world and deserve the right to learn what each side of the

political spectrum does and decide for themselves what they want to do and be. Examples of this freedom

go all the way back after the Second World War were the students in publics, private and boarding

schools got the same rights, education and unbiased teaching. The second party that would interfere with

this reform in teaching policies is the school boards of Wake County and the others around the nation.

Their argument to this would be that they cannot and should not control what the teachers say and do

within the classroom, as long as it does not interiver with the actual teaching and the topic at hand. But

this is a very backwards way of thinking, the teachers are held responsible for the future citizens, voters

and people of the US. If biased manipulation within the system is in the system and the schools are not

doing anything about it, the school system must change in order to fit the new world and the new way of

thinking, which is thinking smart and critically.

The only solutions that can be made inside the school system is with the way the teachers are

taught and the politics dangling over the school system must stop. The implementation of secular minded

teachers and a non biased format of teaching with the new program will obviously not fix the issue right

away. But it would be the stepping stone for the future of American born and abroad citizens. To learn a

curriculum that is bias free and completely factual.
