Action Plan

Objective:

The objective of this project is to raise awareness on the practical issue surrounding food scarcity in

Africa.

Why should the community join in this action?:

The community should join in this action because we will be a much more powerful force

if we all united. Here at Liberty, we could unite all of the students to spread the message of this

scarcity issue. The wider community would be an even greater addition to the spread of awareness,

because volunteering energy and skills to a local organization is a great way to give back to your

community. Even bigger than itself, our country, America, could make a plan to affiliate and show

just how passionate and strong we are about spreading our message in the hopes that others will

recognize the attempts of change. All in all, if you can bind up people of a certain area, state,

region, etc. to join your movement, then you have a much superior chance of being successful.

Theory and History:

It is important to work together, nation by nation, hand in hand, to prove to the world that

action can be taken and it is that action that could put an end to the food scarcity issues. There are

many sources and organizations that provide services for those in trouble to help ease the suffering.

Many of these charities and organizations include so many different ways to ‘be involved.’ One of

these ways is by donating to different organizations. I found that organizations that offer donations

are one of the most popular potential solutions to this issue. Not only accepting donations, but these

organizations also do a very good job with conveying the main message and getting their point

across.

Overview:

The action plan proposed below will consist of reaching out to the help from the community and of

other organizations with the goal of establishing a stronger awareness on the food scarcity issue.

This action plan is based off of prior research, such as statistics and ways that others are attempting

to tackle the situation.
