Abstract:The subject of the research was chosen to look for convincing arguments why B. P.
Hasdeu's personality and work polarized and continues to polarize the attention. His prose denotes
full maturity and the sign of a constructive will, tending to affirm the exceptional availability. The
novel Duduca (Miss) Mamuca (From the Memoirs of a Student), Iasi version of 1863, then
rewritten in Micuta (Little lady). Three days and three nights in a student's life, Bucharest version
of 1864, represents the text that provoked the Romanian literary historians through the discursive
polymorphism of writing with fun destination, nonconformist in spirit of the era, but also vindictive.
The texts-variations Duduca Mamuca and Micuţa, in the fact that it is a very interesting case of
literary combat of the opponent, can be investigated today also in terms of achieving a dialogical
report of variations. The two texts form an intratextual configuration, revealing different projects by
changing the chronotopic structure, which become carriers of discursive positions. The novel is
presented as an inverted parable, but the epic is not limited to saying how to apply recipes from Ars
amandi of Ovidiu. Freedom of form and narrative originality in Hasdeu's novel entails the need to
subvert previous literature to impose itself. The ludic register of formal means, the comedy of forms
and literary theories reveal the existence of an acute spirit of free literature. The novel is not just a
parodic reinterpretation of the composition of romantic works, it is the replica of their rigid
construction. By playing with the effects of narrative distancing Hasdeu manifests creative freedom
and polemical dialogue of intertextuality.
Key-words: Texts-variations, discursive polymorphism, dialogical report of variations, inverted
parable, narrative parodic distancing.
