I am honored to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Paulson Paulson. I had the opportunity to
hire Ms. Paulson as one of our kindergarten teachers early in the summer of 2007.

Ms. Paulson possesses several characteristics essential to any administrative position. She is flexible, creative
and passionate about the students and staff she works with. Ms. Paulson is able to establish and maintain
positive relationships with the children and families she works with as well as with her colleagues. Early on in
the year, Ms. Paulson connects with her families ensuring that they know that they are welcome to reach out
to her with any questions or concerns they may have. She also has an open door policy with her colleagues,
offering up her classroom as a model teacher.

Ms. Paulson’s ability to develop and create an environment of trust and respect with the students that she
teaches is a strength of hers. No matter the make-up of her class, Ms. Paulson is able to come in, establish
relationships and begin to shift and mold the behaviors based on her style of classroom management and
lesson implementation. She works to ensure that she is meeting the learning needs of all of her students,
creating an environment to ensure their success.

Ms. Paulson is a strong candidate for an administrative position. I do not believe that you will find a more
dedicated and driven person than Ms. Paulson. She has an incredible ability to implement new ideas, evaluate
and improve her own performance, and assess and modify strategies to meet her students’ needs. I believe
these will be the same qualities that you will see applied to her approach to an administrative level position.

Ms. Paulson’s concern for children, her dedication to learning and her personal and professional qualities will
