Seat belts and harnesses — Fastened L Pump switch — Pump 1
Parking brake — Set R Pump switch — Off (Check L ENG FUEL PRESS annun. off)
Circuit breakers — In R Pump switch — Pump 1
Alternate static source — Normal Fuel selectors — Crossfeed (For 10‐15 seconds)
Cabin Temp Mode — Off Fuel selectors — Return both to ON
Landing gear handle — Down Instruments and Avionics — Check
Condition levers — Cut‐off Pressurisation — Check, set (cruise alt +500ft on inner scale)
Propeller levers — High RPM Autopilot — Check, then off
Power levers — Idle Electric trim — Check (tab control, wheel switch)
Left subpanel switches — Off Trim — Set to takeoff range (+10%)
Battery switch — On Flaps — Check, set
Annunciators — Test Flight controls — Full, free, correct
Fuel selectors (left and right) — On Runup:
ENG FUEL PRESS annunciators — Check illuminated Power — 1900 RPM
Left and right fuel pump switches — Pump 1 (check sound) ITT/ TRQ — Monitor
ENG FUEL PRESS annunciators — Check off Propeller governors — Exercise
Fuel pressure — Check (green) Engine ice protection — Check
Voltmeter — Check Gyro pressure — Check

L Ign switch — AUTO * Max climb — 4000 fpm
L Starter/Gen switch — Gen On Oil Doors — Open during max climb
L Generator load — Check, 0.5 max Engine instruments — Monitor
R Starter/Gen switch — Gen On • If oil temperature is excessive, open oil doors and/or
increase airspeed by reducing rate of climb.
AFTER START Reduce power as necessary to keep TRQ, ITT and NG within
