1) MY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND

My school is very big. It has a big play-ground. It

is very beautiful playground. We play games in the
playground. We play during break time. We play
cricket. We also play badminton but students like to
play cricket. Some students play roping and others
like swinging. A planter looks after the playground.
We keep it neat and clean.

2) MY DEAR COUNTRY

The name of my country is Pakistan. It is very beautiful country. It has many

historical places. It has many highest mountains. It has beautiful lakes and canals.
It has longest rivers and beautiful roads. It has four provinces. Urdu is our national
language which is spoken across the country. Karachi is the biggest city of
Pakistan. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. I love my country.

3) COMPUTER / LAPTOP
Computer is a technology. It is very useful device. It is
available in desktop and laptop. It has two parts software
and hardware. Tangible parts are called hardware while
non-tangible parts are called software. CPU is the brain
of computer. It is used in office. It is also used for study.
Children play games on it. We can watch videos on it. HP
and Dell are popular companies of computers.

4) MY FAVOURITE GAME / SPORT / MY FAVOURITE PLAYER

My favourite game is cricket. I play cricket

daily. I play cricket with my friends. We
play in big stadium. Shahid Afridi is my
favourite player. He is very good spinner.
His batting style is thrilling that is why I
like batting. I like to play both fast and
spinner bowlers. Cricket keeps me fit. It
builds sportsmanship.

5) QUAID-E-ZAM MUHAMMAD ALI JINNAH / MY IDEAL PERSON

/ PERSONALITY / HERO

Quaid-e-Azam was our great leader. He is my ideal

personality. His name was Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was
born in Karachi on 25th December 1876. His father name
was Poonja Jinnah. Quaid-e-Azam was an intelligent
student. He took part in politics and became part of Muslim
League. He was also a good lawyer. He is the founder of
Pakistan. He died on September 11, 1948. His tomb is in Karachi.

6) ALLAMA MUHAMMAD IQBAL / MY IDEAL PERSON /

PERSONALITY / HERO

Allama Iqbal is our national poet. He is my ideal personality. He

was born in Sialkot on 9th November 1877. His father name was
Sheikh Noor Muhammad who was a pious man. Allama Iqbal was
an intelligent student. He took part in politics. He dreamed of
Pakistan. He wrote many books. He wrote many poems. He died
on April 21, 1938. His tomb is in Lahore.

7) MY HOBBY

Gardening is my favourite hobby. I have a small

green plot. There are many plants in the plot. I water
them daily because they need it. The plants have
beautiful flowers. I enjoy their sweet smell. I look
after them daily. My friends like my green plot. I
give some flowers to them. This hobby is a great
blessing of ALLAH.

8) MY FATHER / MY MOTHER / MY PARENTS

Parents are gift of ALLAH. My parents are my ideal. They provide us every
facility of life. My father is a teacher. He is forty years old. He works in Govt.
school. He is very kind person. He is very simple person and honest man. He gets
up early in the morning and says his prayer. My mother is also very caring. She
takes care of my dresses. I love them very much. May they live long! (Ameen)

9) MY BEST TEACHER

Mr. Akhtar is my best teacher. He works in Govt. school. He teaches us English.

He is an MBA. He is very kind person. He is very hardworking. He is an honest
man. He gets up early in the morning and says his prayer. He loves us very much.
May he live long! (Ameen)

10) MY PET (THE COW)

The cow is a pet animal. It is very useful animal. It is

found all over the world. It has four legs. It has one tail.
Its colour is brown. It gives us milk. We drink its milk
because it is useful for health. We also get butter from its
milk. We also eat its meat.

11) OUR NATIONAL FLAG

Pakistan has a beautiful Flag. It is a national flag. It has

two parts, green and white. The green part is large and the
white part is small. The green part denotes Muslims. The
white part denotes Non-Muslims. It has also a crescent
and star. It is a sign of unity. I love my flag. We should respect it.

12) OUR CLASSROOM

Our school has three classrooms. Our classroom is

very big. It is very beautiful classroom. It is
whitewashed. It has ten desks. It has two door. It is
very airy because it has four windows. It has a
cupboard. It has a whiteboard. It has a dice. It is very neat and clean. I like my
classroom.

13) MY BEAUTIFUL HOME

I have a beautiful home. It is whitewashed. It has two

rooms. All the rooms are big. It has a kitchen. It has
a drawing room. It has a TV lounge. It has a green
plot. My family live in this home and they are happy.
My father bought this home. I love my home very
much.

14) MY SCHOOL

The name of my school is GPS. It is located in Layyah. It has three class rooms
and they all are big. It has also a headmaster room. It has a corridor. It has a
playground. Children play in the playground. It has a grassy plot. There are many
plants in my school. There are five teachers in my school. I love my school.

In vacations I made a plan for a trip and picnic party. My friends were also ready.
We reached station and bought tickets. We arrived for Lahore. We saw different
cities and mills during travelling. Our seats were comfortable. Some passengers
were sleeping. Then we reached Lahore. We saw Shahi Fort, Badshahi Masjid
and Minar-e-Pakistan. Then we went to the Lahore Zoo. It is a beautiful and
historical zoo. We saw many birds, monkeys, lions, zebras and elephant. The
zebra was eating grass. We were feeling hungry so we made lunch. It was really
a memorable trip.

Last Sunday I decided for a trip. My friends were

also ready. We arrived for Kaghan. We took
some food with us. The weather was very
pleasant. We reached there. It is an icy area. The
scenes were very beautiful. We also went to
Lake Sail-ul-Malook and took photos. We were
feeling hungry so that we made lunch. It was a really memorable trip.

17) BIRTHDAY PARTY

Birthday is an activity of get together. My

parents celebrated my birthday. Friends
came on my birthday. They gave me
beautiful gifts. The drawing room was
well decorated. Chairs and tables were
kept for guests. I cut the cake with a knife
and gave to the guests. My friends sang birthday song. I served the guests with
rice and cold drinks. I was very happy.

18) MY SELF

My name is Ali. I read in class five. I am 10 years old. I live in Layyah. My father
is a teacher. I am a good student. I play cricket. I get up early in the morning and
say prayer. I respect my parents. I obey my teachers. I go to school daily. I help
my friends. I want to become a doctor.

19) MY BEST FRIEND

A good friend is a God gifted. Ali is my best friend. He is my bosom friend. We

read in class five. He is very loving and caring. He is very simple and honest.
He is a brilliant student. He gets up early in the morning and says prayer. We
go to school together. He likes book reading. He likes fruits and vegetables. I
am proud of him. May he live long! (Ameen)

20) MORNING WALK

A sound body has a sound mind. I get up early in the

morning and say prayer. Then I go for a walk to the
park. The park is near to my house. The air is cool.
Green grass is everywhere. I see beautiful flowers in
the park. I do exercise. I enjoy the morning walk. Then I come back. I take
breakfast and go to school.

21) THE MOSQUE (Masjid)

The Mosque is a house of ALLAH. We worship in the

mosque. We offer prayers and recite the Holy Quran in
the mosque. It is a symbol of unity. There are many
mosques in Pakistan. Faisal Mosque and Badshahi
Mosque are popular mosques. Faisal Mosque is the
biggest mosque of Pakistan. It is very beautiful mosque.
It is made of white marble. We should keep it neat and
clean.

22) DENGUE

Dengue is spread by Aedes mosquito. It

breeds in clean water. It is a dangerous
fever. It attacks in day time. Many
people suffer from dengue. The
symptoms of dengue fever are headache, pain in joints and small red spots.
Vomiting is common in dengue fever. It causes death. This time there is no
vaccine so the only treatment is rest. We should keep our surroundings neat and
clean. Prevention is better than cure. May ALLAH save us from dengue!

23) TERRORISM / TERRORISTS

Terrorism is the unlawful act of violence. It is haram in

Islam. The people who spread fear are called terrorists.
They are bad people. They get training and then attack
innocent people. They also attack religious places. They
destroy the peace of a country. They are helped by some groups. Pakistan is
affected much. Brave forces defeat them.

24) SMOG

Smog is the combination of smoke and fog. It is a mixture

of different gases. It is formed when fuels are burnt. It is an
air pollution. It is made in winter. It is very harmful for
health. It causes different diseases. It disturbs eyes and
throat. We should not burn extra things. We should use
mask.

25) MEASLES

Measles is a viral disease. It spreads through physical contact. It is caused by

rubeola virus who lives in nose and throat. 2.6 million People die of measles
every year. Symptoms of measles are watery eyes, sneezing and dry cough.
There is often a fever. There is no specific treatment. Vaccine is used as a
prevention. But pregnant woman should not take the vaccine. Prevention is
better than cure.

26) MY FAVOURITE BOOK

My favourite book is the Holy Quran. I recite it daily. It is read in all Muslims
home. This is the last book of ALLAH. It was revealed on the Holy Prophet
(PBUH). It has thirty chapters and 114 surah. It is guidance for all the people
of the world. It has all rules of life. It teaches us how to offer prayer and keeps
fasts of Ramadan. It shows us the path of paradise. I love it very much.

27) AN IDEAL STUDENT

An ideal student is one who has all

good qualities. He is a shining
student. He respects his parents. He
obeys his teachers. He has a good
behaviour with his fellows. He
helps his class fellows. He never
fights with others. He is a regular students. He does his homework in time. He
gets up early in the morning and says his prayer. He goes on walk daily. He
wears neat dress.

28) A HOCKEY MATCH

Hockey is a national game of Pakistan. A match

was played between Pakistan and India. The
stadium was fully crowded. The referee below
the whistle and the match started. In the first
half, India got two goals but Pakistan could not
get. In the second half, Pakistani team played very well. Pakistan got five goals.
India could not get any goal in the second half. Pakistan won the match. We
enjoyed the match very much. It was really a memorable match.

29) A CRICKET MATCH

A cricket match was played between

Pakistan and India. The stadium was fully
crowded. Both teams reached the stadium.
Pakistan won the toss. Pakistani batting
was not good in the start but middle order
made good score. Pakistan gave target of 250 runs. Then Pakistan started

bowling. Pakistani bowling was very wonderful. All Indian players were
bowled out at 220 score. Pakistan won the match. We enjoyed the match very
much. It was really a memorable match.

30) A ROAD ACCIDENT

Last week I saw an accident on the MM road. It was a very scary accident. A
person was driving very fast on the heavy bike. He wanted to overtake the car.
He increased his speed. Meanwhile a car was coming very fast from opposite.
The biker collided with the car from front. The car threw the biker far away.
The people gathered there. The biker was serious injured and admitted to the
hospital. It was the result of rashness.

31) TEACHER DAY

Teacher day is celebrated on 5th September every year. On this day we tribute
them. They are the nation builders. They are the source of rich knowledge and
long experience. Teachers are like parents. They guide us how to live a good
life. They help us in every field. They train us. They love us because they think
us their own children. We should respect them.

32) PARENTS DAY

Parents’ day is celebrated on 1st June every year. On this day we tribute them.
Parents are gift of ALLAH. They provide us every facility of life. They take
care of our food, dress and good life. They educate us. They send us to school.
They provide us money. They have long experience of life. They are ray of
hope for us. We should respect them.

33) A FAREWELL PARTY / MY LAST DAY AT SCHOOL

Yesterday juniors organized a farewell party. They held this party in the
honour of seniors. It was my last day at school. Outgoing students have been
part of the school. The juniors learnt from them. They helped in the study. All
the students were invited. The staff of the school was also invited. All the
students were in well dress. All of them were presented with rice, sweet dish
and tea. At the end seniors thanked them.

34) A WELCOME PARTY / MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL

Yesterday the seniors organized a welcome party. They held this party in the
honour of juniors. It was my first day at school. Newcomers are going to be
part of the school. The juniors will be the asset of school. They will brighten
the name of school. The seniors will help the juniors in study. All the students
were invited. The staff of the school was also invited. All the students were in
well dress. All of them were presented with rice, sweet dish and tea. At the
end juniors thanked their seniors.
