What resources are To complete this activity, the following resources need to be brought in:

What grade is it for? This activity has been designed specifically for year four students looking
at the purposes of mixing different mixtures in chemical science strand of
Science. The Primary Connections Units are all designed to align
specifically with the Australian Curriculum using an integrated approach.
How would you use it in This resource provides teachers with clear background information,
the classroom? language and reasoning for teaching students. The background information
gives teachers a clear understanding of the purpose of understanding how
mixtures are formed but also outline examples in everyday life such as
mixing cordials and why oil and water do not mix well.
