Capt. Hameed Ali

Group Executive Officer
Capt. Hameed Ali, a Bahraini national, joined Jet Airways in October 2007.He
holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Britain Air University and has
over 31 years of experience in the Flight Operations and Technical Services
areas in the airline industry. Capt Hameed is a professional pilot with more
than 10,000 hours of flying on various Jets, Tristar L1011, Boeing 767 / 737
and Airbus 320 / 330 / 340. He also has an extensive experience in both the
Engineering and the Flight Operations areas and has held various Executive
and Managerial positions including that of Vice President - Operations in Gulf
Air, where he worked for over 30 years. He is a qualified Examiner on various
Boeing and Airbus fleet and was also a member on boards of various
companies.
Mr. Gaurang Shetty
Whole Time Director
Mr. Gaurang Shetty, an Indian national, is a Bachelor in Science with over 32
years’ experience in the aviation industry. He joined the Company in 1996 as
General Manager- Marketing and was promoted to Vice President – Marketing
in 2004 and then as Sr. Vice President – Commercial in 2011, being
responsible for all commercial activities related to In-Flight Services and
Customer Services, including Cargo, for both domestic and international
operations. On 24 May 2012, he was appointed on the Board of Directors of
the Company as Director and Manager and was re-designated as whole-time
director on 25 May 2015. In his present role, he is responsible for the
management of the affairs of the Company subject to superintendence,
control and directions of the Board of Directors of the Company. Prior to
joining the Company, he was with British Airways as its Marketing Manager –
South Asia, where he was responsible for passenger marketing, customer
service and cargo.
Mr. Vinay Dube
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Vinay Dube, joined Jet Airways in August 2017.He holds a Master’s
degree in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina. Vinay,
an accomplished aviation specialist has close to three decades of rich and
varied experience in the International aviation canvas. He has a demonstrable
track record of leadership in varied roles at Delta Airlines Inc., Sabre, Inc., and
American Airlines in the USA, Europe and Asia. In addition to his strategic and
leadership roles, Vinay has also held various Board-level positions in his
diversified career. At Jet Airways, Vinay will lead the Executive Management
Committee to deliver the airlines strategic objectives. Prior to Jet Airways, he
was the Sr. Vice President-Asia Pacific for Delta Airlines Inc.
Mr. Amit Agarwal
Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Amit Agarwal, joined the Company in December 2015. Mr. Agarwal is
Chartered Accountant with over 24 years’ experience in India, Europe and
North America, He is a seasoned finance professional with knowledge and
insight of Indian and international markets. As the Chief Financial Officer of
Jet Airways, Mr. Agarwal will be responsible for all financial and fiscal
management aspects of the Company’s business along with the other
corporate functions. Prior to Jet Airways he has held the position of Chief
Financial Officer of Suzlon Energy where he was responsible for managing
the Company’s finance functions and driving the company’s turnaround
initiatives. Prior to that he has held various leadership roles at Arcelor Mittal
and at Essar Steel.
Mr. Rajesh Prasad
Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Rajesh Prasad, an Indian National, has joined Jet Airways in July, 2018 as
the Chief Strategy Officer. He brings with him over three and a half decades of
strategic as well as operational experience, having worked in several sectors
at the Top Management and Board level positions. His diversified experience
spans from Financial Services, Auto Component, Hospitality, Green Energy,
E-Vehicle, Waste Management and has rich experience of Business
Transformation. He has seen the challenges in establishing, nurturing and
growing diversified businesses both as an Investor and an Investee.
Starting his career with State Bank of India, he rose to its exclusive Top
Management pool under a fast track system. He has worked with Kotak
Mahindra Bank as its Executive Vice President and has led a diversified MNC
conglomerate as the Group CEO cum Country Head for over seven years. Mr.
Prasad is a graduate and post-graduate from St. Stephens College, University
of Delhi, a Certificated Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and an
MBA. In Jet Airways, Mr. Prasad will lead the Group’s strategy for overall
Business Transformation and shall be guiding the Company on the bottom line
improvement initiatives covering inter-alia Cost Efficiency, Contract
Management, Risk Mitigation, Equity and Debt profiling.
Mr. Jayaraj Shanmugam
Executive Vice President -Product & Services
Mr. Jayaraj Shanmugam, a Singaporean national, joined Jet Airways in April
2015. Mr. Shanmugam leads the Inflight and Ground services experience that
Jet is known for. Jayaraj is responsible for Jet’s product direction and will help
the Organization to craft a differentiated customer experience. He provides
leadership to the Cargo sales, Cargo operations and Catering teams. He
holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science (Honors) from National University
of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration degree with
specialization in Marketing from Nanyang University, Singapore. His last
appointment in Qatar Airways was as Vice President Doha Hub, Ground
Services with overall responsibility for Airways’ airport operations in Doha.
Capt. Nikhil Ved
Executive Vice President - Flight Operations and Engineering
Capt Nikhil Ved, an Indian national joined the Company in January 1995.
Capt. Ved leads the critical functions of Safety, Flight Operations, Integrated
Operations Control Centre and Engineering & Maintenance. He has diversified
experience across Operations, Strategy & Business Transformation, Fleet,
Network and Revenue Management. He has also been a member of the Civil
Aviation advisory council to the Government of India. He holds a Masters
degree in Air Transport Management and has over 12000 flying hours on the
B737 and B777 aircraft and has been a qualified Examiner on both fleet types.
Mr. Rahul Taneja
Chief People Officer
Mr. Rahul Taneja, joined the Company in February 2016. Mr Taneja has over
25 years of experience in diverse industry sectors and has worked in HR
leadership positions across leading Indian and international companies. He
previously headed Corporate Human Resources at Essar Group, an Energy,
Metals & Mining, Infrastructure and Services multinational corporation. At
Essar, he spearheaded the strategic re-design of the organization and led the
HR function for global operations across all business portfolios. At Jet
Airways, Rahul drives the People agenda which includes focus on employee
engagement, career advancement, building People capability, skill
enhancement, succession planning to illustrate a few. In addition to the
Human Resource function.
Mr. Ashok Barimar
General Counsel & Senior Vice President - Legal
Mr. Ashok Barimar, an Indian national, joined the Company in June 1999. He
is responsible for all legal matters and litigation cases involving the Company.
He holds an LLB Degree and also a Diploma in Business Management. He
has been a practicing advocate specially in corporate matters and thereafter
worked with several reputed business houses such as the Birlas and the
Hindujas. His last assignment was with Satyam Computers. At Jet Airways,
Mr. Barimar is in-charge of all the Legal matters of the Company.
Mr. Ravichandran Narayan
Senior Vice President Finance
Mr. Ravichandran Narayan, an Indian national, has over two and half decades
of rich experience spanning Treasury, Corporate Finance and Project Finance
in diversified sectors of manufacturing, international trading, aviation and
hospitality in leadership roles. He is a Commerce graduate and a qualified
Chartered Accountant. At Jet Airways and its subsidiaries, he is responsible
for financial planning, corporate finance, financial reporting, corporate
treasury, insurance, taxation, statutory compliances and the upkeep of various
processes.
Mr. Belson Coutinho
Senior Vice President Marketing, eCommerce & Innovations
Mr. Belson Coutinho, an Indian National, joined the company in 1999 and is
currently the Senior Vice President – Marketing, eCommerce & Innovations.
With over eighteen years in the aviation industry, Mr. Belson is an
experienced airline professional having managed key roles in loyalty
marketing and product development. He has spearheaded the setup of the
global – digital marketing, social media, eCommerce and innovation strategy
for Jet Airways and JetKonnect. His role entails product design, development
& marketing of the internet, IVR & mobile solutions, portal management, web
sales, digital marketing, social media, risk management, alternate payments,
self-service check-in, ticketing & technology solutions and ancillary revenue.
Belson is also responsible for marketing including advertising, brand
communications and sponsorships / partnerships. He is a member of various
industry and business leaders’ advisory committees and has been conferred
with multiple industry leading awards for his contribution to eCommerce and
digital marketing.
Mr. Pradeep Kumar
Senior Vice President Cargo
Mr. Pradeep Kumar, an Indian national joined the Company in November
2015. Mr. Pradeep Kumar has an extensive experience in all segments of
Airline cargo business which includes the areas of setting up Cargo Revenue
Optimization, Yield Management and Pricing, Revenue Planning,
development of integrated Cargo Systems, and Industry Affiliation with IATA
and various trade bodies. At Jet Airways, he will be responsible for all aspects
of Cargo including Commercial & Operations.
Mr. Raj Sivakumar
Senior Vice President Network & Revenue Management
Mr. Raj Sivakumar, joined the Company in November 2017. Mr. Sivakumar
has close to two decades of global aviation experience with international
carrier like United Airlines. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Operations Research
awarded by the State University of New York, Buffalo. At Jet Airways, he is
responsible to develop and lead an appropriate network strategy, design and
adjust the demand changes through modern Revenue Management
principles. Mr. Raj Sivakumar previously held the position as Head of Travel
technology and Strategy at WNS Global Services, a Global Business process
management Company.
Mr. Praveen Iyer
Vice President Revenue Management
Mr. Praveen Iyer, an Indian national, joined the Company in April 2005. At Jet
Airways, he is responsible for defining, developing and executing overall
Domestic network planning, pricing and revenue management strategies.
Prior to his current role, Praveen was responsible for the development and
implementation of sales strategy for driving the goals of enhancing revenues,
maximizing profits and development of new markets, building high
performance sales teams for achievement of customer acquisition and
revenue goals for India points of sale/ territories. He also had a brief stint in
developing and executing commercial strategy and policies at a Global level.
Mr. Abhijit Dasgupta
Vice President Network
Mr. Abhijit Dasgupta, an Indian national, joined the Company in August 2002.
At Jet Airways, Abhijit will is tasked with developing a network that positions
the Company to maximize our probability while at the same time robust
enough to ensure operational reliability. Abhijit will engage with our key airline
partners, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure Jet Airways’
commercial interests and aspirations are promoted effectively.
Ms. Warakorn Komutanont
Vice President Inflight Services
Ms. Warakorn Komutanont, a Thai national, joined the Company in October
2014. Ms. Komutanont has over three and half decades of diversified aviation
experience. She started her career with Cathay Pacific Airways as Cabin
Crew before joining the Management teams in Worldwide Airports and Inflight
Services. Her strategic roles focused on the design and development of
products, service philosophy, service proposition and delivery of the brand
promise for a seamless customers’ experience. Her Safety expertise includes
international aviation regulatory and IOSA compliance, Safety Investigation,
certified ICAO Safety Management System and implementation, as well as
overseeing the Quality Control and Quality Audit. Her Human Resource
experiences are on Training and Development, Job Analysis, Recruitment,
Selection, Staff Engagement and Succession Plan. She acquired her MBA
from the University of Michigan, USA. At Jet Airways, she is responsible for
Inflight Services and Operations, Cabin Crew Performance and Management,
Recruitment, Manpower and Resources Planning, Service Development and
Service Training for Inflight services.
Ms. Ragini Chopra
Vice President Corporate Affairs & Public Relations
Ms. Ragini Chopra, an Indian national, joined the company in June 2004. She
is a management graduate from the Oberoi School of Hotel Management. Ms.
Chopra has spent 28 years with the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in various
functions ranging from Operations, Sales and Marketing, Business
Development and Corporate Communications. She has wide exposure in the
fields of travel hospitality and tourism. In her current role, she is responsible
for Corporate Affairs and maintaining public relations.
Mr. Kuldeep Sharma
Company Secretary & Vice President Global Compliance
Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, an Indian national joined the Company in January 2015.
Mr. Kuldeep Sharma has over 26 years of rich and diverse experience in
Secretarial, Legal & Information Technology. Currently at Jet Airways he will
be responsible for complete, due and timely statutory compliances, secretarial
functions, share administration and shareholder relations.
