    In this revised poem the selective logic of colonialism is described. The same logic is also applied in the proces of introducing new control mechanisms and stricter rules nowadays for companies and individuals trying to open a bank account. Simultaneously dependency and complexity is stimulated by authorities. You need a bank account more and more to function and at the same time it gets more and more difficult to get it. The authorities decide whether you are worthy to get a "bank blessing" based on the argument that the mechanism is complex for your own protection. The gap between the establishment and the starters is growing and growing because of that. Former pirates block ambitious sailors because they could become pirates. "Hindsight"they say

    People have been killed


    because the climate was nice
    and blood has been spilt
    when new land was fertile.

    Whenever it was possible


    to lead a comfortable life
    in a place feeling like Europe,
    the natives had to flee or die.

    They did not really care to dwell


    in deserts, jungles and the arctic
    but you may bet they settled anywhere
    apples, grain and pears could grow:

    then they thought they had the right,


    to consider the land to be their own
    and went on to get more territories,
    fit to plant an apple tree.

    When objectives were reached


    and the booties secured,
    they desired to live in peace.

    So, they enforced civil rules


    and started to preach
    about the terrible sins
    of rebellion, pride and greed
    or murder, theft and jealousy

    “It is hindsight” they say

    “We should not do anymore,


    what we did before
    and neither should you

    You should respect your conqueror


    and grant him the tranquility,
    to enjoy the treasures he took
    in peace and perfect harmony

    Please respect his superiority


    and accept his right to punish you”
